He has a good chance because a lot of people have been watching Waverly, what are his stats? Swafford has some good numbers, and Saylors is a really good RB with I think 24 rushing TD on the year. Swafford has 18 rushing, 2 picks for TD,1 fumble TD ,and 14 passing for a total 35. Also we has good numbers on defense, all are worthy.

I'm going with 2A Aaron Swafford Jacob Saylors Gavin Stanfield the kicker for Bledsoe County is really good. Really don't know much about 1A.

I think Rockwood is more than capable of beating Hampton and going to SN and winning, I think region 1 hurt themselves when SN upset HV and making HV have to more than likely travel to Meigs. I guess it was a upset?

I think HV and SN both win with HV having a hard fought win, Rockwood and Hampton is a tough one to call, I just give Rockwood the age because of playing at home.

Maybe I will start a new third Friday Region 1&2 score and maybe we can get someone at each game to keep us updated.

#4 was fun to watch, I promise you him and #1 for Meigs were two of the best players in 1A, Meigs had a good chance of making it to state last year just fail short losing to Harriman by 1 in region tournament. I have contracts with Elizabethton utility board, I will be back up there after the first of the year to start some new jobs, I usually stay a couple days a week just checking on crews, I've went to Hampton and watched a few games, not much else to do up there and I enjoy sports.

I made both trips to Hampton for those games and those were to of the best high school game I've seen they could have went ether way, I think home court went a long ways in those games. Meigs and Hampton are a lot alike both small town schools with a community that has a lot of passion for school sports we usually have triple the fan base home or away in football and basketball, I spend a lot of time up there I have crews that's been working around Hampton for a couple of years, but Meigs wins we have 3 red lights and Hampton has 1 lol. Back to football Friday night will tell us a lot about Region 1&2, I still think Meigs will be hard to beat especially since SN beat HV and they will probably be coming to Meigs, HV will have their hands full Friday against Oneida they have some big kids that hit hard it will be a close game if HV can't throw it.

I'm a Meigs fan but I would be shocked if 30-20 was the final and in my opinion would make region 2 heavy favorites this year.

If you are right and SN bests CG 30-20 that would tell me that region 1 is way down and will struggle with region 2, 1-2-3 seeds because Region 2 first place team Meigs beat them 42-6 and it wasn't much of a game, and not trying to be disrespectful to CG just stating facts.

It's so hard to compare teams when it comes to kids, Cloudland beats Hampton by 2 and then Cloudland almost loses to Copper Basin one of the worst teams around here, but I think Rockwood wins.

I don't think I ever made that statement, I know Marion is a good team and well coached and I have a lot of respect for them and I know Meigs has to earn respect on the field, but it seems that everyone is counting them out but this is a different Meigs team with a lot of confidence, my only concern is Meigs is a young team playing mostly sophomores and juniors and starting I think 2 seniors, I still think if we can make it to round 4 we will see you guys.

I will agree with you on that and both teams might not make it that far but to say Meigs can beat MC is a bold statement this year.

I guess that could be said for both teams, I would say the best team HV has played would be Grace and the best team Meigs has played would be Sequatchie the only difference is when Meigs play a good team they won and HV lost,

Hold on, so your saying Meigs can't beat Marion Co but MC gave up 42 points to a Sequachie Co team that Meigs held to 7 and beat by 17? That doesn't make much sense, I would have Meigs has the favorite, Meigs has a better defense and I would give them the age on offense to, but both teams have a lot of tuf games before we get that far.
