I think AC is probably better than what most people think and maybe Greeneville is not quite as good as what most people have been thinking. Plus you turn the ball over 5 times it is hard to overcome. And the first one was a back breaker, the scoop and score!! In my opinion that was the play of the game!

Did not even need the “IF”! I am shocked at how easy it was against Greenville. Did not see a running clock!!!

If AC can play like they did against Powell, Science Hill and Carter they are more than capable of beating Elizabethton again and then beating Greeneville. If they play like they did against Rhea Co. their season will be over. Play like they did the other 6 games they could still beat Elizabethton and Greeneville. I think AC, Greeneville and Elizabethton are the best 4A teams in the state. The 4A state champs will be one of those teams.

I think the good linemen(no.52) played. He picked up an offensive fumble and ran it at least 20 yards while dragging numerous AC players with him for most of the yardage. One of the best power runs I have seen in along time!!!!

East Ridge’s QB is a good scrambler and throws it decent. And they have a running back who is really fast. Definitely a better team than they were last year! But i cannot see them beating Elizabethton!!

Howard is definitely athletic, but I do not see them beating Greeneville.

CC blocked a punt through the end zone for a safety for their first 2 points. Then after AC’s third and fourth TD’s CC drove it 80 yards each time by completing 5-6 passes each drive to score.

Hopefully AC will play better this week than they did against Chattanooga Central this past week!!! The run offense and the run defense were about the only real positives that I saw. CC passed for almost 400 yards and would have easily had more if they had not dropped 5-6 passes. AC did not seem to have much energy! I expect to see the real AC team this week!!!! Go Mavs!!!

I continue to be impressed with how well AC is playing, offensively and defensively. And the kicker, no.13, is a big time weapon. I expect a running clock by the start of the 3rd quarter!!

ACTV is carrying the game. Hopefully it will be a good game to watch for Maverick fans! I will update the score on CoachT!!!

Powell’s QB had a lot of success scrambling against AC!!

I have been a loyal supporter of AC athletics since the school opened in the Fall of ‘82! I have been quite surprised with the success of this year’s football team. I expected they would do fine in their Region but I did not see them beating South-Doyle or nearly beating Powell. And I did not see them beating Howard 42-0, especially after what Howard did to Tyner!...... I think Elizabethton will give Greeneville and/or AC all they can handle. Of course I will always being pulling for the Mavs!!
