I do disagree about your take on the color guy Eli Manning, If I have the right guy he was a good linemen for Oak Ridge back in his day. His enthusiasm is welcomed since the play on the field is lacking. I don't know if Eli is a permanent Color Guy but for this Oak Ridge fan he was a breath of fresh air. I do agree with you he was certainly a homer but the more he does the job he may ease up. By the way, great win for Powell!

We will be in big trouble because Powell has more then a decent passing game. You know I am trying to come up with anything that will give OR an advantage. What about some of these ideas... 1. Y to the I to the K to the E to the S...YIKES... YIKES YIKES!!! Coach Gaddis is saying the Running Game is the most important aspect of the game and that the Warren guy is the best Prep offensive linemen he has seen play. This makes me scream YIKES, because I have been holding the OR Def as the key to the game. Maybe we can win the running game but that will be hard.

I was just as stupid an OR fan then as I am now. Right before halftime with Central already up big they took a shot down field. It was incomplete but upset me so I yelled, " try that (Bleep) again." I was hoping we would get a Pick 6 but instead Helton threw a bomb for a TD right before halftime. Sweet Science, rest easy tonight because I didn't give up on the Cats that night in 1990. Never said a bad word about them just like I try not to do today. I hope that helps explain to people why I am the Wildcat fan I am. I didn't know Sweet was a player but because he wore the VictORy City Colors he was due the ultimate respect I could give. Some say that is wrong but I just say it is me.

Dang! Is this the Knoxville News-Sentinel prediction? My guess is someone got into the booze cuz no way Oak Ridge gets 48 points hung on their defense. No disrespect to Powell cuz they do have a good OL, great WRs and an outstanding QB. But OR DC Jeff Minor has had two weeks to prepare for the Panthers and the Wildcats D will be ready! The score 48 - 13 reminds me of the 1990 OR vs Central game when Todd Helton went Tom Brady on Oak Ridge. Trust me, 2021 Powell is no 1990 Central.

I would want to play Alcoa near the end of the season, The way we have started the last two seasons it would get ugly quickly. BACK TO POWELL... I hope this doesn't surprise anybody but I feel good about the Powell game. The off week will be a blessing for us. I believe our two demonic linebackers will chase and catch Potts. Our D - 1 RB will have such a great game on defense we all will be shocked. I don't know how we are going to do it but the Defense has got to score twice. A perfect kicking / return game is a must. Yes, I get how you feel about the Bengals. Me, too. I don't really care for the Cincy QB or the WR from LSU. Back to OR vs PHS....I think we changed our D to a 3 - 4 against Lenior City and Halls played a 3-4 against Powell with some success. Do you think this means we can have sucess too?

Oh heck no. I selected WillieTheWildcat because ORHS was, is and always will be my favorite sports teams. Coach Bear Bryant switched to the Wing-T at Alabama and I was never a Bama fan. Well, a little bit when Bo and Jason went there. OR #1, Atlanta Braves # 2, Bengals #3 and NC State #4 ( David Thompson is my all time favorite basketball player. ) Favorite baseball player is Willie Mayes. Okay back to the Powell talk.

Needless to say I did not shine but shrunk from the limelight. Although, if I remember correctly most of the original posts on that subject turned out to have problems. Are you sure you mean Cat because you kick my rear pretty quick one time as well. My heart wasn't in for a fight with you, BigPurpleMachine, WacoJaco and ORnole all at the same time. So I pretty much curled up into a ball and let you guys have at me. Sad thing is you probably don't remember any of this and it caused me some hardship.
