Big Purple was correct a few of your statements were incorrect perhaps you might want to collaborate your story prior to posting. If it's one thing we get enough of it's "fake news". Another point in case u missed ot earlier these schedules are made sometimes two or more seasons in advance., therefore its not always assured that some teams will be as good or if they will be around in two yrs. the way a lot of these kids transfer. I can assure u DHS can play with anyone and give them a competitive game. In reference to our first round opponent, you might want to take tg3at matter up with the TSSAA .

This game will be intense and remember the hard fought win ny the Trojans a few wks., back at Alamo. The Cavaliers as everyone in our region would like nothing more then to tarnish the Trojans unblemish record and escape with victory going into the next round. The Trojans must stay focused and not assume it will be easy, there won't be anymore easy games for the rest of this season... If Ripley can put togerher two positive halfs and stay focus tgey can make ot to Round 2. Tge2 Tigers played the Trojans well at home and Dyersburg defeated Millington there, but Millington played a good first half. Go Tigers

We (DHS Trojans) seem to always have to face the Mustangs yearly in the playoffs. I find it hard to believe a winless team could even qualify for the playoffs. TSSAA might want to look at perhaps awarding a team from another West Tn 4AA Region with a playoff game in cases like this. Hardly seems fair for someone to make it simply because they are from a small region while other teams who have won games get left at home.

Good luck, until and if we meet in round 3.... I know Hoofkin (if I misspelled please forgive) have the Tomcats playing great ball. This is what good coach teams do get better through the season and find ways to win. Dyersburg has lost two of their best backs , but have still found a way to win, hopefully that mentality and effort will transcend in the playoffs.

Ok If we (Dyersburg) can stay alive we will be home until possibly round 3...and If Haywood wins out (and the only remote chance I see of them having any competition is Crockett in Rd. 2). That game would be a WAR..... Go Trojans one game at a time please.

Dyersburg plays East...what are the other matchups? Haywood will be home and play the third place team from the other REGION correct? So who is Crockett and Ripley playing, I know their games are on the road . Assuming we win Friday we will play the winner of Ripley and their Friday night opppnent correct?

Hard fought as expected this rivalry always is. CC got iff to a 13-0 lead in the first quarter, the Trojans managed to tie the game 13-13 with less then a minute before halftime however CC quarterback connected on a long pass and CC escaped into tge half leading 20-13. After halftime and some adjustments RB Chris Henderson ran opening kickoff back 82 yrds. Game tied 20-20. From this point on after stopping CC in their first drive Trojans scorced two more times in the third quarter and lead going into the 4 th quarter 34-20. In the 4th quarter after a Unprecedented Trijan fumble in their territory CC scorced makong the score 34-27. Once again the Trojans rose to the occassion and freshmen D Harris scorced within the 2:00 min mark to seal the game for Dyersburg. This made the final score 41-27, Dyersburg, there was another score nullified due to a chop block by D'burg also in the second half. Both teams left it all on the field, and the referees did mot drc3ide the game. This is Dyersburg's first undefeated regular season since 2005 (James Counce). Now everyone is 0-0 and headed into playoffs, one game at a time Trojans lets stay focus, next team up Memphis East Friday in Dyersburg, TROJAN fans let's fill Historic JCSawyer stadium and help our team win the first of the next 5 games, gooooo Trojans

I think Sth. Gibson came into existence over the lzst ten yrs. i think it was built due to Gibson County and some of the other Gibson County school over crowding. With the growth spurt in Jackson and so many new homes there was a need for another high school just putside the Madisin Cty. Line.

Tks.... Looks good on paper, but we all know anything can happen and our first order of business is Friday at Crockett. This years Crockett team reminds me of the Trojan team of 2017 who on any given Friday night that team could rise to the occassion and play tough. I believe the Trojans know and expect a hard fought game on Friday from the Cavaliers. Over the years they have evolved into a serious rival and one we know would like nothing more then upsetting the Trojans.

Yes, this haa been a memorable season for the Trojans, here's hoping we stay focus and finish out peefect. Remember, the playoffs are next we, there is still unfinished business in 2018

This is the last regular season game for both teams. Dyersburg has wrapped up first place but what is at stake for the other teams and any playoff match up scenarios. Win or lose, I think the Trojans first playoff game will be in the friendly confines of JC Sawyer stadium... after the first playoff game I think things may or may not change to another site depending on which team loses on the other playoff region
