Does anyone have a update on the boy's from Rhea Co? This is more important then any ball game .

No one has said what he has done. I agree that some mistakes can't be given a second chance, but some can. Did he get a DUI ? Was he selling drugs ? Was he in a under cover bust of some type. We all know that in the teaching and coaching world there are some things that just can"t be let go. But if he has had a clean record and made small mistake then this could have been handled differently. Maybe a written warning put in his file that if whatever he did happens again your done.

He coaches with the boro flight teams. isn't that enough to give him another shot at coaching at tullahoma ? Many people have made mistakes. I'm just saying those without sin should throw the first stone.

What is going on ? No one has even said why the new coach has been removed.

I believe Knox Catholic wins this one easily . By at least 21 points. Bradley didn"t throw the ball very much. But then again they did not have to. Word on the street is Rhea's starting QB is playing over at Meigs co. Could be why parents are upset. Got family playing for Catholic, so i'm biased , but I can't see this one being close at all. Not on the road at Knox Catholic.

Are you suggesting that they change his grades! Cleveland has been known to do that.

I'd guess this is something he's done before. Williams is not use to coaching in a place like Cleveland. He might want to look at renting and not buying a house in Cleveland.

Is the head coach at Cleveland having to set out any game for this violation?

He did charge the kids a fee to play. Even in his own tournament!

Why are all the coaches leaving? Is it the administration? Are they taking better jobs? I really do not know. Asking for your opinion .

K.K. Curry left because he didn't have enough credits to play at Cleveland this year is what was told to me. Was he getting any help from people that should be helping him? Younger brother went to Bradley, so I'm guessing his family did not think so. Some kids need extra effort by adults to monitor their progress in the classroom as well as the playing field. Sports will come to a end for everyone at some point. Got to have the education to go to the next level, and better get a college degree once they get there.

Word on the street is Cleveland did not tell the whole story to TSSAA. Might have left the middle schoolers out of their self report.

This maybe the new model that every program that wants to get in extra practice and recruit the best middle schoolers goes by! Plus getting your AD involved is a genius ideal. Takes the pressure off the head coach and puts it on the administration .

I know they play good football in McDonough, GA . But I'm guessing Knox Catholic by a bunch? Eagles Landing is not a name I can ever remember hearing about. Trying to decide if I should go or stay home and watch Boston College. Don't hate on me because I'm getting old. Will it even be close?

From what I read on here no school employee can coach players from their school during the no practice time. Plus bringing in middle schoolers to play with them is even a bigger violation. Also hearing the school employee was the AD and a former girls basketball coach who was asked to do all this by the head girls coach Tony Williams. And it was done under his aau flagship called fast break . This is not hard to figure out. There is a reason tssaa says no school employee can do this. If you could coaches would have practice year around and invite all the best middle schoolers. Like i said before, if this was a private school the middle schoolers would be ineligible and tssaa would throw the book at them.

If you can practice your high school players in March, April, May and mix middle schoolers with them and play in tournaments, and the punishment is loosing one month of open gym next school year then everyone should be doing it. In the past I thought Benard Childress ruled those 8th graders ineligible for one year at the high school who violated this serious rule. You can't practice and play 8th graders with your high school team period . If your a employee at that high school. If one of the private schools did this they would have gotten the death penalty !
