AAA tourney teams look to be down a little overall compared to past years. Stone Memorial impressed me more than any team playing today. Whitehaven and Arlington looked good.

Don't be thin skinned. Yes I watched while listening to another game on the radio. Bradley was the better team and I was pulling for them to win. But the calls did go their way in the 4th.

Good try. It was more like when Tullahoma went on a run to close the difference down to a one possession game in the 4th, the whistles "suddenly" started blowing.

And to no ones surprise when they play at home, Bradley shot 24 free throws, Tullahoma shot 11.

I listened to the game and hated that Meigs basically lost with a turnover. Both overtimes sounded intense with lots of fans cheering, which is how it should be. I know you all lose a couple of good seniors but there's plenty of good talent returning as well as some good freshmen coming in next year.

Your coach is too passive at times. He doesn't realize a 15 point lead in the third isn't a safe time to take your foot off the pedal. Meigs will have a very tough game having to play Macon or Upperman. It may be the toughest competitor for any region champ in the state. Region 4AA (District 8AA) has been tough on region 3AA teams the last several years. When is the last time a region 3AA team made it to state?

Both games should be good. If Central plays well, their game with Red Bank could be a good one and one they could win. Was it Red Bank that had a player hurt, or is she back? Signal will probably play Meigs close for 2-3 quarters, but Meigs quality depth will be the difference IF the Coach uses them. All 4 of the 5AA boys teams lost.

The top 2 teams from each District survived tonight, so the next 2 rounds should be more competitive.

Can't believe I'm hearing a Bradley fan complaining about the refs. McMinn's had the talent all year, but coaching is average at best. If the Lady Cherokees pulled an upset tonight, I doubt they'd make it past round 2.

With Central more than doubling the score of their opponent and a 28 point victory, it probably wasn't too interesting.

Possibly, but I can't recall one. Other than Bradley, I just didn't think District 5AAA was all that great this year. Decent, competitive teams, but lacking what I think it takes to make State. I haven't seen a final for Cleveland-Rhea, but the Lady raiders were trailing by 17 in the 3rd.

Assuming White Co wins over McMinn, looks like my prediction on District 6AAA going 3-1 was accurate.

Surprised at how close Cookeville played Bradley.

I don't think it will be a District 5 sweep by all means for the girls. It will probably be a 2-2 split tonight but hoping Sweetwater can pull the upset and make it 3-1. District 6 usually owns District 5 for the guys.
