Pop ups are back and worse now!

CA’s season will come to an end next week!

Best I remember about that deal was O’Conner took it and a week later LC split and formed Fayetteville HS. He went back to GC. That whole deal cost a good coach and a great man from here a job. He was left out to dry.

New developments coming from this the week after next (Thanksgiving) so stay tuned.

Not to beat a dead horse, but, out of morbid curiosity, I did a check here on coacht. This is what I came across: So, by reading this, I understand that LC has ALWAYS played a weak schedule, for at least going back a decade. And, obviously, I’m not the only one that figured this out. But, am I the only one that knows about the two buddies at the T$$AA?

MJ had a good year. Time to move on.

Personally, I feel for who ever comes in there. If they don’t win off the bat, could get rough. Those folks over there are used to winning!

T$$AA doesn’t care as much about the gate proceeds as you might think. They are well in the black now and the bid from Cookeville and Tech make up for gate reciepts there. This is in addition to ALL of the needless playoff game receipts. Just better hope another BA type lawsuit doesn’t come along again. We’ll be have pre-season playoffs with 0-10 teams in the post season.

The enrollment numbers being mentioned, go back the past decade. Then the one after that. Then the one after that. The schools you mentioned didn’t have those type of enrollment numbers. When LC played those teams they were often at the end of a whipping stick! Funny how when they were in the same classification with those schools you just mentioned, they were in regions playing against lesser competition. Good thing for the coaches first cousins best friend’s babysitter’s brother cutting Bernard Childress’s grass huh? Also known as the good ole boy system. But hey, LC will look for another 9-2 or 10-2 season with another early round playoff exit next year!

That’s the point ‘09. When LC has to compete with their own, they can’t! Good ole boy system has two guys in the T$$AA that makes sure LC is set in easy regions with those (1A) type schools you say LC should be playing. Hence, 10-2 record with early round exits!

After seeing Summit first hand I can attest to how good they are! But, I think Beech will win this with little problem. Still though, it’ll be a good game.

That’s my point. Even with all the “classification” hum ho, they are playing “up” from their traditional classification. Though they are in their correct classification, just as LC. LC is playing down! This isn’t 1978 again! LC doesn’t play anyone and it shows as soon as they get to the playoffs! Gotta be proud of that 10-2 record though!

I’m going with Lead and hid MC kitties in this one. And, it wont even be close! Lead, friend of a family member said three scouts were there Friday to watch and take a look at the Liggett kid. Said one was TN Tech. Any ideas on other two?

I don’t and have never had anything against Waverly. Waverly, even in their down years, never skeered away from competition. And, as far as I know, Waverly doesn’t have a couple of buddies in the T$$AA helping them by placing them in extremely weak conferences. Waverly had a 10-1 record going into Fridays game right? Now, what was Friday nights score over another 10-1 team? Wonder why that was? Could it be due to them being a much better 10-1 team? So, how could one 10-1 team literally wipe the field with another 10-1 team? Could that other team be overrated? Why is that, then?

Forrest has a good program going over there. They are not overrated nor are they always placed in a weak region, ever.

Little 2A bal.... Why wont LC schedule little ole Wayne County, any more? Poster on here the other day said WC has been trying for seversl years and LC wont! One would figure LC would jump on that! Being 1A and all. I bet as soon as that program takes a dip, LC will be all over scheduling them then! That’s just one reference to your program! Bet that 10-2 record feels pretty good right now, huh?

Why don’t you go back to cheering on the band! LC wont play us. Not only that but they wont schedule anyone of relevence. You need to just stay over there with your little 2A ball!

We held our own. We didn’t get blown out. Our game was a good one.

Who would have ever thought it? LC with a 10-1 record and all! How can a team with a 10-1 record get put out so early in the playoffs, I wonder? Must have just been a fluke! That’s got to be it! Probably never happened before. Bet it wont happen next year either.
