Yep, and the Bryce Brown effect as well. This is so sad for HS football! There are always two sides to every story and what I heard there is stubborness involved here. Webb is heavy handed and always has been. Saying that I'm going to put a huge BUT in here and say he is not wrong in this. It's called disclipine. No practice and no play! The parents are trying to make a stand here and if they don't get their way then they are going to show him. Sad part is, regardless of another coach starting tbid ruckus, it's going to impact those two boys!

After AAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL of these playoff games you have been so braggish about, and, I mean AAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL of them, even the ones that you claim were past the first round, you come after me with ONE of the only COUPLE/FEW times LC went that far and, you basically cite me as the reference!! That should tell you right there about which side of the arguement you are on! Get ready for another 1/2 round playoff exit boys. LC is waaaayyy OVERRRRRRRATED just like every year!

Fact is, LC will never have one of those gold balls. Was it 5-6 years ago when they played a one horse Westview team and won on a punt return and tipped hailmary in a playoff game? Then got thrashed by CPA?

Guy does have a valid point about the passing game. It is a must have to make it into and past the third round. It's not difficult when you are playing against lessor teams year in and year out. That's how you have all of those winning records but get knocked out of the playoffs in the early rounds. Seems LC is content with 8-3, 9-2/3, and 10-1/2 records. I don't have a problem with it. Just have to deal with being overrated.

They will always be the step child. Talent galore but no one wants to play and the added pressure from the other schools doesn't help.

I think we slip up on Gallitin in the second round.

I'm sorry to say this but this will be our year. It's too bad we moved up this year because 4A would have been good for us! Sad part is that we will be down next year and it will be magnified!

I guess like everyone else, we'll just have to wait and see. Part of why H.S. football gets exciting around this time of year.

I'm just saying. I don't have a dog in their race but I have seen them play twice and have two work colleauges with kids on the team. Hands down theyvare good.

MJ is going to roll like the Tide did today. Maybe not as bad but MJ is the best team in Middle Tennessee this year.

I've just stated how overrated LC is and provided reasoning! You act like you are comparable to the best programs in the state. I can see that, however. Playing CA and Chapel Hill. Also strange is that when LC was forced to play some of the teams we did back before the split LC always got smoked. Fortunately for LC is that Sharp is personally good friends with atleast two members of the board. Why do you think LC is always in the weakest conference?

Yeah, but were not playing sub .500 lower tiered teams week in and week out! And, when LC plays a decent team, even a smaller weaker school, ya'll always get handed a loss! Gotta be proud of all those 9-1/10-0 records with early round playoff losses..

This ^^^^ is extremely weak! First of all, my arguement "this week" is not about calling in scores. It is about the constant weak schecule through the eons. Second, I never even mentioned the Tennessean. Third, it's not an obsession. It's observable facts! Weak schedule equals more wins. More wins (region) equals higher seeds in playoffs. That equals playing less competition in the first rounds. Funny thing about it is, is that LC that LC always gets put out in the early rounds (even with 9-1 10-0 records. All of this equals OVERRATED!
