  1. Interesting Seeing those numbers, this game may be a lot more competitive than we are expecting. I just hope we work on pass coverage this week!
  2. I don't need a doctor, I'm completely appreciative and at peace with my past. It has made me the great man I am today. If you've never been through something like that, the you would not understand how hard it is to deal with or talk about something like that. Took me 25 years before I was able to. You also never understand the guilt, shame, or loneliness that comes with it as well. So far him to come forward with that, he must have been really hurt, so I came forward to let him know that he's not alone and I'm here for him if he needs someone to talk with. Also I am a trained counselor, and only someone who has been through that and overcame it, can help someone else do the same.
  3. Ha ha trader, you know what I meant , lol good one though!
  4. Hey, Pride. I feel your pain. I was molested for about 5 or 6 years as a kid. There's a lot of anger and resentment that comes from that, but it takes a strong person to endure something like that and still become an upstanding citizen. Most people that experience something like that gets destroyed by it. I heard a quote today and it's so applicable to our situation. It said when you go through something like that, it will do one of three things to you. It will define you, destroy you, or make you stronger. I believe you are one that it has made stronger just as I was. So instead of letting it define me and control my actions, I use it to help others that has been through the same thing and it's become a significant part of my testimony and I use it often to let people know that no matter what they go through, the Lord still loves them and has a plan for it all. I use my pain to take away or ease the pain of others. I would really hate to see you go away from something that I know you truly love, because of some ignorant person's statements. You where one of the few that didn't call me a complete lunatic when I said Waverly will possibly see y'all in the semis this year. So if by some miracle that does happen, we gone need your smack talk to get us ready for the game, lol. We need your insight on here bro. You are one of the good one's, and if all the good one's are ran off, we are left with nothing. If you ever need someone to talk to that has been through what you've been through, don't hesitate to reach out to me. Much love brother, hope you decide to stay, us good one's on here got your back!
  5. Man, you know I'm always hopeful that our boys will find a way to get it done, but after seeing our pass coverage last night, sadly I think you're right on this. It was several times HC's receivers where wide open, we are just lucky their qb couldn't throw, but the qb we're facing this week won't be missing those throws! Our defenders wasn't even looking back for the ball! This could get ugly unless we could get Dion Sanders in there to work with the boys this week, anybody got his number?
  6. That's for sure! It's funny, when I saw the schedule at the beginning of the season, I knew Riverside was going to be holding the keys to the gate that leads us to the region championship again!
  7. They were, what we thought they were, but we didn't let them of the hook! Waverly wins 21-14!!!!!!!!! Go Tigers!!!!!!!
  8. I'm pulling for the hill, because I like trader and it'll take some pressure off of us, lol.
  9. Yes, they've improved a lot. Waverly is actually the underdog in this one, at least according to everyone else.
  10. GAME DAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! Finally gets to see who's going to put their money where their mouth is!!!! Been a longggggggg 2 weeks and I'm ready for some football!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope these boys are ready to play, especially coming off the bye week!!!!! Let's Go Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. I like your positioning for us, and I definitely think it is possible if we play to our full potential each game!
  12. This thread is freakin hilarious!Good one Vandy!
  13. Sounds like a pretty fair assessment to me, especially coming from someone that has played them. I'm looking forward to seeing if our boys are up for the challenge! If they come to play, should be one heck of a game!
  14. Our region is down, and it has nothing to do with us not being the top dog. As trader mention, in the past few years there's always been at least two teams in this region that other teams feared! Last year my son spoke with one of the players from Peabody and he stated that we were the only team they feared last year before we played the game! Of course they pulled off the win, but they were playing scared most of the game, especially after we went in with the lead at the half. Nobody fears Houston county! I'm not disrespecting you all and what you have accomplished thus far. You are currently the lone wolf in the top dog position, but we haven't played yet, and to become the top dog, you have to beat the former top dog. The only reason you guys are popping up in top ten list right now is because you are still undefeated, but IF Waverly could pull off the win, and I know that's a big IF, especially how up and down we have been this season, you would go right back to obscurity, and everyone will say, they were who we thought they were.
  15. Somebody's pretty confident...........( He says with a lot of sarcasm)
  16. Does anyone know the score of the Houston county game?
