So proud of this team.SC was the better team but Oak Ridge Could've easily won that game.Sucks to lose on onside kick and not have a shot to go win it.All the credit in the world to Mill Porter for putting the team on his back and becoming a star after all the injuries.I would've loved to see a healthy Oak Ridge team.We had a few guys just not ready for that kind of football having to play.And having to play vs a great SC offense.Congrats to both teams

It's going to be really cold so let's hope Oak Ridge can make a game of it.I think it will be really hard for Oak Ridge to slow down the Sevier Co offense.It would've been tough no matter what but with the top CBs out it makes it really tough.Hopefully WP can play some CB tonight but a lot to ask for someone who hasn't played but few snaps in last 6 plus weeks.Im proud of this Oak Ridge team and how they have handled adversity so I'll be there.Go Wildcats

I know your whole stick on here is to try to discredit Oak Ridge or the coaches. But he's not running the ball more now as much as it is throwing it to the running back.

That's not true they have a super talented sophomore class. A good freshman class. And Robertsville was better than anybody they played and won their league championship

Wow what an amazing game by B.Stansberry.Maybe the best I've seen an Oak Ridge QB through the air.He was lights out and without his weapons.Got to love the guts the defense showed late stepping up and making plays.Big time props to D.Porter as he did it all tonight.I heard he had 11 rec and 150 yds rec on top of around 20 carries.When we lost him those last 2 or 3 possessions it really killed our offense.Also have to give credit to Rang and staff for an amazing game plan.That 1st half was big flawless play calling and fun to watch.Ive not always loved his offense but tonight was a clinic.Congrats Wildcats on gutsy win

Can Oak Ridge hold McMinn under 14 pts.Going to be really tough because I don't see us scoring more than that.And scoring 14 will only happen if we execute.We cant drop passes or turn the ball over.We had way too many flags or negative plays on 1st down last week.With the players out there now we just can't make those yards back up.I know our overall chance are not great tonight but hope we can hang around long enough to make it interesting

The Clinton people I know said only one person applied the first day it was posted.But the guy they said applied would be a good get for place like Clinton.He seemed ahead of his time years ago on offense but has bounced around a lot.

What lifers have moved and played at Clinton?

It is an awesome place to play or watch a game for many reasons.The tradition can't be manufactured and from where we watch the game I get to hear opposing players and coaches reaction before they come down the hill and they are really impressed.I know some teams that have been at the top the last few years that have an average at best atmosphere.It is just different at some places and maybe it just takes time but some of the really good teams right now could only hope to have a atmosphere like Blankenship

Pick any coach you want and they wouldn't have scored much more.I don't think Rang is an offensive savant but he can only do so much with what players are left.Ill give him credit for getting a win.Plus they said the put in a new FG block package that was really big.Your obsession with hating on Rang is odd

It really is insane how many key players are out.Losing Will is bad enough because he is good for 100 plus yds and a TD on an avg night.Not to mention he would've been a lock down CB in playoffs.And and electric return man.So we are missing our top 3 pass catchers from a position we were really thin at to begin with.Then 2 other WRs and the backup RB.On defense your top 2 CBs plus another starter DB.Your best Edge/DE and another good OLB.Plus your top 2 Kick and punt return guys.And I'm leaving some other guys out that would be playing.Just some awful luck.The good news is almost all the injured players will be back next year and not missing their last season.Ill be shocked if offense scores over 7 so going to be hard to win

It wasn't pretty but very proud of how Oak Ridge gutted this one out. The defense battled all night. The JV offense kept shooting themselves in the foot but found a way to score when they needed it most
