Played 3out of 5 only 2 in our pool / Briarcrest won 25-22 - -22-25 - 25 21 25 19 know head ref never refed before & don’t know if he’s ever seen a game - but Summertown played great

If this is Briarcrest b -team other must be giants

Agree winner will have to earn it but as I said before only practice games for the rest of them

Wow Didn’t expect that be interesting this weekend

Would like to see who’d win between Briarcrest & Ravenwood / maybe RW did want get beat by 1A school

We should only take these games as learning or teaching moments / of course you want to win and Summertown doesn’t like to lose in anything but getting prepared for tournaments the ultimate goal / doubt these caliber teams be in 1A

Ravenwood out Briarcrest Christian in for Summertown / went from frying pan into the fire both would be great compensation / don’t know why some pools have 5 teams others 3 ?

Summertown been in tournaments w most big name schools here and held their own / be interesting if get matched w Camden or Hickman somewhere down the line

She got cleared to play and played sparingly at Rocky Top Classic against some big named schools (went 4&1 ) losing to West Virginia reigning big school state champions in 2 competitive games

Summertown may have lost starter to nagging knee problem /only time will tell

Summertown beat Central magnet 5- 12- 13 so yea they not the team they were last year

Cookeville before Houston game / didn’t want to brag to much : and they did beat Summertown later but neither were walkovers : Houston front line is huge probably not see that in 1A

Summertown beats AAA state participant Cookeville ( boy were they shocked )

Summertown wins cougar classic ( MTCS ) against mostly private schools

Summertown probably just to big inside after Weathers goes back row / Burdette has freshman replacement when she goes out that going to be something special when she figures it out / Loretto be fine but very young / I wouldn’t count them out just yet

I like it that you have regulation fields unlike State Tournament temporaries - what a disgrace

Summertown saw that scenario at state last year

One guard is a Campbell ( Kaley cousin ) the other a Brazier ( Jenna and Reily Sister ) so the genes are there maybe at end of year they’ll figure it out for Summertown

I’ll say get a W not necessarily an upset / course on the flip side Summertown could be more susceptible to an L than last few years it’ll be an interesting season for the Eagles unlike the resent past where most games over by half

Summertown had couple that didn’t play at Wayne but agree this team not as experienced ( how could you be losing 4 starters ) but w new coach inside game seems to be more of a priority - not as fast paced but don’t count them out yet
