Coach Slone and crew have taken down another team that use to dominate Lebanon teams of the past. Purvis, an old MJHS player himself, always schedules LHS on his senior day to add insult to injury. He always drills LHS, well he did. I'm glad to see LHS finally break that curse. Everybody keeps talking about Coach Martin, well his brother is on the MJHS staff. The Martin magic didn't seem to come through for the Bears. Hats off to Lebanon. I hope you guys continue to win and reach new heights. I'd love to see an Oakland sweep!

How's everyone doing??? What are the records not all teams have all of their games on coacht. Just curious to how all Wilson Co. teams are doing. Kinda tired of just hearing about Rutherford Co. teams. So let's hear about'em from MJHS to MJ Christian.

Let's see where everyone thinks their teams will end up by district tourney time. Rank them 1-8 and make it a little more interesting predict district win losses.....Like who will sweep who and who will split. Then we'll look back and see who is the guru when it comes to 7AAA ball. Don't be SCARED!

Chitwood......isn't he coaching now or was??? How many FCS former players are now coaches??? Just wondering. Mike had a little brother Kevin....did he go on to play college ball like Mike??

So why do you hate LHS so much?

I am from LHS and I didn't play anything there. I did follow football and baseball in the county though. I don't really care to know your name I just wanted to know what team at LHS you beat. I don't know many of the FCS kids except for the summars kid that went to CU in the early 90's I believe. I just wondered if you played with him. The reason I won't state my name is I have a kid at WJB. I'm not like RU and bash people on here. Sorry to upset you though. I actually agree with some of what you posted.

Also did you happen to know or play with the Summars kid that I think ended up at CU but I'm not sure???

Volzchamps, You told me you went 2-2 against LHS. Was that against Cue Martin's squad?? I think he had a perfect record against you guys. I'm not sure though. If it wasn't Martin what Notorious was it against???

They actually posted the highest scores this past year in the county. I don't know if that includes FCS or not. What kind of gang problems are you talking about?? They do however go through coaches.

Well I have a kid at WJB. 8th grade. We lost our 2 coaches, Spurlock and Travis Holland. Holland is now at Oakland. He'll be great there. He's an old CU player but younger than you. You guys need to stop all this bickering on here. Really though why did you quit coaching the Freshmen at Oakland? Coach Manning said you did a good job. Just wondered why you got out????

Was that against the Cue Martin teams?? I remember Jody Atwood and Bobby Joe Gibbs. LHS had some good years back then.

I remember a Slaughter at CU. Good kid!! Didn't get to play much though. I didn't know where he went to high school though.

The Multiplier did not effect FCS this year. They should have few barriers this year in baseball or football except maybe Trousdale Co. They should atleast get 1 State Championship. They are stacked with talent in both sports. They came out even better with defects from local Lebanon High School in the past year the have gotten 3 outstanding athletes from LHS. Jon Miller stand-out QB and IF/P. Brian Cravens starting SS for LHS defected in middle of the '05 season and just a week ago stand-out RB/DB and starting CF defected just weeks before kick off. Friendship has a dynasty. Atletes are drawn to that place. McNeil if you can't get it done now that all the good privates have gone up due to the mulitiplier and the new additions to your 2 programs well......FCS is so much better than the divisions that they are in. They would be very competitive in any division. Good Luck this year and don't beat up on the watertowns and the g-ville's too much! Watch out for Trousdale and you'll rule the division. It's a cake walk!!!!

Ok some of you old guys out there tell me the best Lebanon High team of all time. I want records some game recaps if possible and who did what. Come on old guys time to boast!!!

Well that stinks that he has to sit out a year. It's ashame for a kid to waste a year. How does he look in practice with the other FCS boys???
