Coach at LEAD Academy took a job at a 6A school in ATL. LEAD has had a lot of success the past few years. I think there will be a lot of interest in the position.

Should be some fun AA Metro matchups tonight.

#2. Shooting guard. He was only fourth on the team in scoring (about 10 ppg), but by far their best defender from what I saw from them.

7A District Tournament: LEAD Academy vs. RePublic; Grace Christian-Franklin vs. KIPP 8A District Tournament: Fayetteville vs. Cornersville; Ealgeville vs. Cascade Who y'all got?

LEAD Academy is off to a strong start. 13-2, with their two losses coming to a 4A Atlanta team (by 1 in overtime) and AA Upperman in the championship game of a Christmas tournament. They play hard and have the discipline to win close games, although depth is not a strength. Should be interesting to see how Region 4A shapes up.

How do you think they will matchup with District 7A in Region? Obviously really early...

Saw them play last week for the first time since last year's Region semis defeat to Huntland. Off to a 7-0 start and havent played a single-A team yet. Tough defensively and have multiple threats on offense. They're tiny though, but seem to defend the post pretty well. Looked it up and District 7A games start this week. Not sure what to expect besides LEAD in this District. KIPP should be improved, but haven't started out great. No idea about RePublic, but they'll be athletic judging by pictures of their football team. Merrol Hyde dropped 100 points the other night. Grace-Christian has struggled. Curious to see how it shakes out.
