Odd year odd region hosts if they’re same seed right ?

Hampton took care of business. Cland dominated NG. Should give jellico some of the same medicine next week. We'll see
NG gave Cloudland way too many opportunities. Played with them the first half but made way toooo many mistakes. Jellico is about equivalent to NG so Cloudland will beat them handily.

So hard for me to believe Jellico has a shot at Cloudland they have lost to the two of the worst teams in Region 2 already.Midway and Oakdale. One or both May not even make the playoffs!
Yeah me either…especially at Cloudland. Their only prayer is to spread it out so much that Cloudland can’t catch them but they don’t have the boys up front to handle Cloudland for 4 quarters.

If HV was too much in the trenches, Hampton will be two hands full and then some. Running clock

I'm gonna go ahead and call it, Jellico wins Region 1 by beating Cloudland at homecoming.
No shot. Jellico won’t be able to stop Cloudland…NG had Jellico beat but threw a pick 6. They didn’t score one offensive touchdown on NG or really even get close

Yeah. This is just embarrassing
What’s going on with big 74 on the sidelines ? Was looking for him to have a big year.

Its looking like jellico might get their first regional championship for the first in long time if ever I'm not very knowledgeable about the single a teams in upper Tennessee
Jellico is much better but it’ll be a stretch for them to win on roan mountain. The Kentucky transfer portal has been nice to them but I don’t think it’s enough to stop Cloudland from their 3 yards and a cloud of dust style. Also Jellico is a slow scoring offense that struggles to throw the ball down field. Could they beat them? Yes but Cloudland will have to help them out like NG did.

I agree, pulling for the Rangers obviously, but I’d give Jellico and edge at home especially. Unaka will need to play their best game of the year thus far.
Jellico also got an extra bye week this week since Tri Cities forfeited

Not been a lot of chatter, but let’s try this again. How are the Carter County schools feeling heading into week 4?
Hampton - heading to Cumberland Gap after a lopsided win over Happy Valley. I’d expect much more of the same here. Hampton by as many as they want.
Cloudland - bye week. Cloudland still looks to be the favorite in Region 1A. How are you all doing health wise, I think that’s the only thing that can possibly prevent you from taking the region.
Unaka - heading to Jellico after the first win of the year 38-14 over region opponent Cosby. Big game for both teams, the winner of this one is likely the only one with any chance of being able to challenge the Landers. Jellico is 3-1 (one win by forfeit) they haven’t scored more than 14 and also haven’t given up more than 14 in a game. If Unaka can keep its offense going there might be a chance, long bus ride up there for a game on the road though.
Happy Valley - The Warriors get Eagleton Academy at home coming off of Eagletons first win. How do the Warriors fare in their second region matchup?
Jellico is better than what people might think. They lost to oakdale 14-13 who was down 27-26 with Oliver springs until really late in the 4th. Jellico skill guys are pretty tough and their team speed is much improved from previous years. Should be a fun game if Unaka can get off the field on defense.

I think they only arrange the Region schedules. The other dates are filled by the schools

Why would Boone and West not just play this weekend? That really screws Elizabethton and Greeneville. Cyclones have hardly any home games and that takes one away and that’s a third game Greeneville won’t get this year.
Forreal, doesn’t make any sense. If I was Betsy, Boone would be paying me a pretty large fee to get out of that game. Idk what Greeneville is going to do. Hate it for their seniors

That can’t be a good sign for Greeneville. Who does Boone have scheduled for Friday?
Betsy I believe

A guy on Twitter said that Mo West and Boone would be making their game up on Thursday so West would not be playing Greeneville. Any truth to that?

Are they gonna keep the tie on the record this time or will it be removed like db vs Greeneville game it makes more sense to keep it a tie then no game at all if a game was partial played
It’s a no contest so game is basically like it was never played

Why could they just not resume tomorrow night and legit reason?
Idk I seen where someone said logistically it wouldn’t be possible (buses, officials, food, etc.) but I was hoping they’d at least give it a shot

Last week I woulda said a blowout by WG. However, Eagleton looked a lot better against Oneida so I think this game will be closer than what some may think. They could possibly get a W if West Greene plays like they did against Chuckey Doak.

Who you picking?
Friday 9/8 @ at the black hole. Rebels vs Black Knights. Big game, not for region, but for bragging rights. County Rivalry and the hole will be packed!
Last year CD took SG to the wood shed and gave them a good ole whipping. CD fans, who’s your key players? SG fans, who’s your key players? Interested to see how this turn outs. I think I have a pretty good idea, but gonna hold my thoughts for now.CD - best players are number 13,7&4 . They are very good and can score at any time on offense or defense. They are big up front and pretty physical.
SG- their rb is pretty explosive and they have a good OL. Big athletic receiver on the outside that can cause matchup problems.
both teams are very well coached and should be a really good game. If sg can slow down 13 for CD then they should be able to win and I feel like they have a slight edge.

C-D is spanking west greene's John brown hind parts. That makes cland look weak. I wonder if C-D been playing possum?
They have three of the best players in East TN (4,13,&7). Unfortunately Pittman is in their conference now but they should be able to compete for 2nd.

Trying something different. One thread to talk about all the week 3 games.
Cloudland at Hancock County
Unaka vs Twin Springs, Va
Hampton at Pisgah, NC
Happy Valley Bye Week.
Hancock is beyond horrible. Cloudland should easily get back on track this week.

I think WG is likely a bit better than they looked in the jamboree, but the Landers can win this one. If it was in Roan Mtn I would feel good about a Cloudland win, being in Greene county it could be a close one though.
It’s at Cloudland I believe
