They reported otherwise to TSSAA but ok....

You played one weak AA school, and the only relevant AAA school you played beat you. Take that lame comment of yours and smoke that. The rest are barely .500 for the season.

496 is the cutoff and Loretto is around +530 kids. Has been for 5 years. They wouldn’t even be the smallest AA school In the state if they were properly classified now.

They should be good and they are but Loretto is essentially a AA team getting to play A. Might not be as relevant as you think if you get classified up

Agree! Their feeder schools are awful. They just let anyone coach at all the elementary. Some of them never played a sport in school. They don't teach kids any fundamentals - then those kids get to high school and it is the first year HS coach’s fault they can’t dribble or make a layup without walking. They all about softball in Lexington but will see how that goes now with all the controversy with that. It will get better under Bowman but did their fans really think they had a shot at state or something with that team? If so Bianca would not have left.....

Agree. Not having a solid PG is a killer for them. Blaize just picked them apart and there was no recovering. Yeah i think Coach Bowman is doing a Really good job with the lack of fundamentally sound talent and dealing with the drama of some parents. i see why the other coach jumped ship. SH looks to be peaking at a good time. Look better every game.

You got to look at it as a whole. SS gets better with Currie-Jelks back yes but nobody comes back 100% after that injury but this district will be weak. They will still be 1or2 but McNairy loses Wade-Warren. Lexington Loses Taylor. Crockett loses Pankey and several shooters. Dyersburg loses Newsome. And you mentioned WV tandem. Losing them two will kill WV. Freshmen can shoot open but she will have to handle ball and this is probably her weakest point. Covington isnt West TN to me but ok they will be decent too. Of those players named they make up 65% of the scoring or better. This year in AA in West Tn anybody can have a chance to advance. About the same way in A besides Greenfield. Next year it will be two maybe three team dominating everyone else.

All they need is to get a guard to work all summer with a ball handling coach. If they had a fundamentally sound guard next two years would be theirs for the taken. Just about all classifications but especially AA in West TN is gonna fall way off when these 2020’s graduate. Lot of great kids in that class!

Coach Bowman has brought those girls along way in one season. With Taylor back they could be a sleeper and upset in district if they play team ball. Thought the Scotts Hill and Chester County games were good too. Got robbed at SH with the refs IMO. Ltown got a lot of potential if they can work on their fundamentals. Like you said to many unforced turnovers

Regions are at Lexington. Watched McNairy and Lexington other night. If Ltown would have been a hair better on shot selection they win that game. Luxury of a district/region plagued with injuries and youth..... yeah I thought Dburg would “out athelete” them. They go the way KK goes. If her or Newsome has a 20+point night they are hard to beat.

Will McNairy even win their district? No way they get past regionals.

For the ones that say Tennessee does not need a PG....what games are you watching? They don’t have a PG. It is painfully obvious watching a much smaller South Carolina turning them over. They cant handle the ball under pressure. Maybe Kelly should have saved one of those spots for a true point guard and not just a big guard who can dribble a little bit. I would take Chloe Moore over Massengil any day!

In the past it finished out at the host school even if the host school was put out first round. I don’t see GC giving it up.

Greenfield will win Region7A. Toss up between Gibson County or Union City taking 2nd. Both will have to play their best ball to get to Sectionals. I think UC takes the 2 spot.

And they would have won even if BA had handled the ball perfectly. Im just saying it was a really sloppy game on both ends. I didnt leave thinking I just watched best team in TSSAA.

You think? I watched Ensworth play Brentwood Academy recently. They won but it was really sloppy. BA beat themselves with just bad ball handling in general. I agree Ensworth is very athletic but it was sloppy. Might have just been a off night. They rely on D Waggoner alot

I would like to see Greenfield and Ensworth. I think that would be a good game.

Seen them several times in wins and their losses to MC. They are a good team but they far from best in A. Good team but not best
