I went to the semi finals last night. I thought McNairy got some tough calls with about 3 minutes left in the game that actually impacted the game. Their coach got a bench warning but did not get a T. He kept his composure. North Side won the game to create a North Side vs South Side championship game. South Side killed Lexington. their press is the best press I have seen all year. But if they don't make some 3's they are going to be in trouble with a team that can break the press. Lexington was just outmanned. Someone said Lexington's guards are all sophomores and they played like it last night. If South Side Makes shots they have a chance to make it the state tournament and maybe win it.

I sure hope the kid that was hurt can play. I hate to hear that. Yes, if their leading scorer is out then I got South Gibson. Still got Dyersburg over Crockett

nah but South Gibson got the winner of Obion vs Westview and Crockett got the winner of Dyersburg vs Milan. Tournament is at Crockett First round games are tonight (2/18) at Obion and at Dyersburg

Riverside at North Side - I got North side Chester county at McNairy - I got Chester County in a huge upset Scott's Hill at Lexington - I got Lexington in another close one Riverside/North Side winner plays the Chester/McNairy Winner Scott's Hill/Lexington winner plays South Side

Westview at Obion County - I got Westview in a mild upset Milan at Dyersburg - I got Dyersburg south Gibson plays winner of Westview and Obion Crockett plays the winner of Milan and Dyersburg

Covington Fayette Ware Bolivar Ripley ( I would have picked them even before last night...

I personally like head to head and then a point differential up to a certain number of points like say 8. (this prevents teams from running up the score). then records against district opponents that are above you. If that doesn't break the tie then you gotta have an arm wrestling contest between the head coaches. If all that fails then I guess the only other option is a coin flip.

Not familiar enough with Regions 1-4 to have much of an opinion. Region 5 A - NoBody - Region 6A will sweep the sub state Region 6 A - McKenzie and West Carroll Region 7 A - Madison Region 8 A - B T W Region 5 AA - East Nashville Region 6 AA - Community Region 7 AA - Jackson South Side Region 8 AA - Wooddale Region 5 AAA - Clarksville NE and Mt. Juliett Region 6 AAA - Nobody - Region will sweep the sub state Region 7 AAA - Nobody - Region 8 will sweep the sub state Region 8 AAA - Whitehaven and Memphis East

I picked Westview to win this District early. I think they have a really good team. Just haven't played well for some reason. I also think Milan will be trouble for somebody. I wouldn't want to play either one of them in a win or go home.

Two great programs. Two great coaches. There is a logical explanation or this would not be happening. Would be nice of them to share it and I am sure they will when they are allowed. I got Peabody at home by 14

I don't know but it should be on a rotation. The only problem with that is the drive. Also, some gyms are not capable of holding it due to facilities. I think District 13 rotates it but district 14 must vote because it was at Chester forever until a few years ago it was at McNairy and this year Lexington.

That District is wide open... Well for Runner-Up. LOL The other side of Region 7 seems to be South Gibson and everybody else but I still think it is wide open come tournament time.

I'm not buying Lexington. I've seen them twice and their guards didn't handle pressure at all. But, maybe they have improved over the past 3 weeks. I like McNairy over them.

I watched North Side twice and they were very aggressive and at times out of control. I'm not sure if they play like that ll time or not but if so then I can see a situation where the fouls could be out of whack.

So why did he leave? paperwork... That don't make sense. He been there for years. Now all of a sudden paperwork and he leaves. I don't know about that.

South Gibson beat North Side by 3 last night (1/27). South Side beat North Side by a ton. I understand that isnt how it works and match ups make a difference but I just don't see anybody in Region 7 AA touching South Side.

Never understood why he left.
