Not watching, but how’s MASE offense looked so far?

Been to Oakhaven once back in the early 2000’s. Idk if you’ve ever been to Booker T before but those two places are tied in stadiums accommodations

I agree that hole was one of the biggest I’ve ever seen. Both tackles got completely blown off the ball

I agree, and it’s not a knock on MASE either. McKenzie is a complete team imo. Just like what the saying goes, that’s why they play the game. Will be a dandy for sure

They do deserve better, they have a good team and play really good defense. Last night, I said McKenzie will win if they can throw the ball downfield and set up Taylor to get in space. MASE secondary is also pretty good as well. If they clean up some stuff and get more yardage from other players besides Brown to keep the opposing D honest they will be fine. MASE might not come out with the W but they will play hard and give McKenzie all the want. I wouldn’t be surprised if either team wins.

McKenzie will be a tough one. I’m not knocking MASE, as you said they have the best athletes and they will be able to match McKenzie in that area. I think if McKenzie brings the air attack they have they will win, but if McKenzie let’s Brown for mase run wild it’ll be interesting

It is. You play who you play though, they have athletes for sure. They answered the bell and got it done

Did not know that, you can’t do nothing about it. Back in the early 2000’s Memphis Carver used to do that stuff when a school would close up down there. All I will say TSSAA would never let a school gain like that down here if a school closed up

So the team we played were a bunch of school combined? Sorry I’ve been out of the loop on teams other than familiar opponents this season

You’re right. Peabody didn’t pass as much as I thought they should’ve this game, maybe some bad throws early on caused that decision. MASE played press coverage all night. Won’t work against McKenzie because you can’t play press coverage and not give up good yardage over the air against a team that has 3-4 quality receivers. 6 for mase is a baller so if McKenzie stops him they leave Memphis with a comfortable win

I know a poster will say youre just hating, but McKenzie beats this team by 2 td’s at least if they play their game. If Cassidy is ripping it like I’ve seen him do over the year McKenzie wins it all this year. I give Mase credit they are a good football team and 6 is a heck of a player, but McKenzie can throw it pretty good. We could eat crow on it, we might not. Congrats on a hard fought game

Just scored, 24-14 Tide now. Mase unsportsmanlike costed them on this last drive

You my friend are right, the kids don’t get to experience a “dog pile” on the mound after recording the last out to go to state or even enjoy a competitive game in saying we earned the right to be here. The worst part the team Bradford beat today Middle College baseball team has been in the substate 5 years in a row if I’m not mistaken and has been beat every time in 3 innings. I heard from someone that was at the softball game today that Middle college only had 9 players..sad

I’m pretty sure TCA was like 1-5 or 2-5 then they switched Goldsmith to QB and they blew everyone out and won 3 playoff games by just running QB sweeps and throwing every now and then lol

Agreed. I read something where this Mitchell team has some young guys playing in key spots so that could help them in the long term, and might make them a team to watch out for in the long run. Stangs should take care of business in this one

The only Memphis team I would keep an eye on is MAHS, they have athletes and a good coach in there. Only thing is they hadn’t played competition of what Huntingdon has played this season besides Brighton

Yes. That 2nd round between MAHS and Huntingdon should be a good one

Not too much talk of it this week, but from what I’ve seen from the scenarios laid out, yes.

They did. The Stangs looked really good on all sides of the ball. No turnovers, talking to few guys the turnover is what hurt them in their losses. If they protect and grind like they did the other night, they are a dangerous squad.

13 seniors, 8 that play mostly both sides of the ball plus the two kickers. Good chunk of juniors that get playing time
