I think it's salvageable. There has never been a strong winning tradition, but the culture is what needs to change. CCHS has had plenty of athletes, that's not the problem. The problem has been coaching decisions and 4 quarters of all-out, hustle and effort. I'm not sure just how much parents are a problem, they may very well be, though. The next head coach can be successful if he can impact the psychology of the athletes there and get them to believe they can win. A more reasonable non-region schedule would also help. This year their schedule was the #1 toughest in 4A football to start the season. It ended the season as the 9th hardest. That's brutal.
