This guy here has some good points! my point on the schedule is this...Oakland has not been tested at all, how will they react in a close game, what if blackman gets out to a lead? Blackman has been in close games and lost...I give you that....but Friday night I really believe you see their A game. Alcoa is top 5-8 in state all classes. Blackman is 6-0 if they played Oakland schedule ....have they played a team with a winning record? It will be a great game friday

Has oakland played anyone as good as alcoa, ravenwood, indy?

I have been down on our blaze with our lack of offense, but I think we have it straightened out now. Our defense is tough and I think Oakland won't score as much as you think. It's a 4th quarter game and beam and the WRs will make plays behind the home crowd. If our offense was clicking earlier in the year like it did in 2nd half at Riverdale, we would have beat Alcoa and Ravenwood. Blackman 17 Oakland 14 in a thriller.

This game won't be near as close as you think. Blackman has played much better competition and has completely OWNED Riverdale winning the last 8 meetings according to the DNJ. I just don't think Riverdale can handle them at all. Riverdale would have 3 losses if they had played Blackman schedule.

When is the last time Smyrna beat Blackman? Don't see this being as close as the thread may indicate. CPA dusted the bulldogs, I would think the Blaze are as good or better than CPA. With all that said, this is a game worth taking a peek at however....
