  1. I have grew up in the valley all my life and Chattanooga never gives the valley any love. Look at the Valley’s accomplishments in the past 10 years. Pitt, Marion, and Whitwell have all went to state. A couple of years ago Sequatchie was derailed in the semifinals by Alcoa.
  2. If you look at your astronomy chart, there will be a bangal tiger formed in the sky on the day of the state game. It’s manifest destiny! Tigers roll, and they bring a ring to the valley. Whitwell - 28 Cornersville- 14
  3. The gospel of Alcoa football. The story of how Alcoa’s fans blow as much as their mascot. Go tornadoes!
  4. I didn’t go to Hamilton County schools. Plot twist, I got my degree at Maryville College. You probably got your degree in eating paint chips.
  5. He’s reaching now. You probably have the IQ of a tater tot. Somebody get this guy a helmet and a coloring book.
  6. Does Alcoa pay tuition? No, because they have open zoning. The lower income families would still be forced to play in their “zone.”
  7. Yep, excatly what I said... You’re crazy man. So you just going to ignore my point about population and zoning advantages? It’s simple arithmetic. The more kids you have the more chances of athletes. Yes, you have 3A population but your pulling kids from across your county that is over 100,000 people.
  8. Calm down brother man. You just made a lot of assumptions about a lot of things (me included) that you know nothing about. We all know Alcoa is the real deal. My point, Blount Co has open zoning. Blount co population: 127,253 (per wiki). How many schools do you have in that area? Sequatchie co population: 14,112 with one high school. Most rural communities has 1-3 high schools. Even Hamilton county (Chattanooga) doesn’t have open zoning. You don’t think that gives you an advantage? It’s a little more than hard work.
  9. You just made Indian's point. If Alcoa is not only competing with 6A schools, but beating them, they definitely should not be in 3A.
  10. This one is hard to call. If Whitwell comes out like last week they will be in trouble. For the valley's sake, I hope they persevere. Whitwell - 35 Greenback - 28
  11. After reading your posts, I am going to take an educated guess and say you are either still in high school or about thirty years old, and still living in your mother's basement. You know, one of those failure to launch kind of guys.
  12. * In Lee Corso voice * Alcoa wins, but closer than the experts think!
  13. Like I thought, Red Bank was exposed. Good win Bees
  14. If I am not mistaken, Upperman's coach was coach of the year when he was at Sequatchie. He will have the Bees ready. We will find out for sure on Friday. I might end up putting my foot in my mouth but based on my observations, I don't see Red Bank winning.
  15. If Upperman stops # 5 on Red Bank they will be fine. Red Bank is decent size but not very physical and the longer the game progresses the more flags and mistakes they make. If Upperman jumps on the Lions quick it could get ugly.
  16. Red Bank "played?" I thought you said they should have won by 20. You seem confused. Don't worry, everything will become clear next Friday about that schedule.
  17. Your mind is made up about the mighty Lions with the not so mighty schedule, so I will not argue. I'll just say told you so next week. You just better hope # 5 plays the game of his life because that is the only prayer you have. He is the only reason RB won Saturday.
  18. Two can play that game. On the first drive Sequatchie was driving down Red Bank’s throat but fumbled. The field was wet. As a result, there were fumbled snaps and dropped balls on the Indians side too. No way Red Bank should have won by 20. Don’t worry, your eyes will be open next week when the Bees win by two or three scores.
  19. "It's only football" Ummm....? I guess you forgot this is a message board about FOOTBALL! I guess you'd rather talk about people. Stay classy.
