DBurg never plays any out of region competition. Stowe sticks to the easy wins and his offense is so 1 diminutional the teams in middle and East Tennessee rip him apart in playoffs. Load the box and dare the receivers to make a reception.

Mullins is the best player on the team, so of course he plays both ways in 1A football. I don’t know his defensive stats but @lakecounty1968 might have some.

Just check the rushing leader in the whole NATION currently on max prep. That yardage is currently off some and he’s still leading

These are probably the same people that said Willis from Greenback deserved the award over Synder in 2019. They both made it to the championship game and Synder embarrassed him that day. They will always pull for the east side of the state no matter who is in it.

You must not have been to Lake County before. Going north to Kentucky is all farm land and 20-25 minutes to Fulton, Kentucky. Dyersburg is 30 minutes away and so is Union City. Missouri is 30-40 minutes from the highschool. Lake County sure doesn’t bring kids in. Not counting the prison inmates we are just as small as PC.

LC tried to get a winner with a state championship team so might so well try it with a one man band this time haha. More voters for the finalist is from middle to east side of the state. We are in the far north west corner of the state and don’t have any coverage at all. The closest bigger city is Dyersburg or Union City and they will never help out a small one stop light town like LC. Dawson probably does deserve the title but I had to make things interesting in the thread. Hopefully Mullins can at least be a finalist and help him get a college scholarship. The young man needs all the help he can get to maybe get away from this county.

LC doesn’t have the team to score points and win games this year. You are basically comparing Dawson to Synder of 2019 and if so history repeats and the QB doesn’t get it. Mullins is all LC has for scoring, so no they won’t win a lot of games this year. 1337 yards, 17TDs and over a dozen 2pt conversions. He is a one man show and the opposing teams knows it and still can’t stop him. Sounds to me like Dawson has some receivers that can catch a ball so your team has the weapons to score. History usually repeats itself but I forgot, y’all aren’t in west Tennessee

In 2019 Synder for Lake County was hands down the winner for Mr. Football but the award went to a Greenback receiver. That receiver did little to nothing in the State Championship game and Synder was easily the clear winner after that game. The west doesn’t get the coverage y’all do and 2019 proved it. The record doesn’t matter too much because the 2019 falcons went undefeated. Synder ran the same play over 15 times in the state championship in the 4th quarter and was never stopped. They knew it was coming. What does Dawson average per carry and pass? You even said yourself that I made the point for you. He should have 300 -500 yards more of total offense to be even close to Mullins.

1300 yards of total offense is totally different from 1300 yards rushing alone. What does the record have to do with a single player going for one award? To stand out against a running back he should have at least 25%-40% more yards to prove his point. Dawson touches the ball EVERY play versus a running back just when his number is called. Based off his stats that’s an average of 162.5 passing and 162.5 rushing, and he touches the ball EVERY play. So HERE is your Mr. Football
