A few teams in 6AAA could definitely run with Bradley. But Bradley and East Hamilton have matchup problems for all the teams in 6AAA except Stone. The rest of the teams would have problems stopping their best players. It’s a size/speed problem as both teams have tall athletic posts that are really good with the ball. I think there are better guards in 6AAA but better posts in the other district. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

If Stone beats Cookeville in Championship game that is a very high probability. But I think Cookeville could surprise some people tomorrow. They have played Stone really well twice. They played two bad quarters vs Stone. First quarter at Stone and 3rd quarter at Cookeville. If we shoot well and don’t take a quarter off then we can win that game.

Stone beats McMinn by 20 at home. They have no post players and Stone has two D1 post players. EH vs BC game will be fun.

A tie game and a girl shooting at half court and you think it should have been called? Unless she picked her up and body slammed her I think you let it go to OT and let the players decide it. Just my opinion as a non biased fan.

There was some trash talking going on for sure. It was going both ways. Mostly between 22 and 34. I think the ref warned them a couple times. But in general that game would be that way if it were for last place. I will say 22 had like 25 pts. They didn’t have much to discuss if you ask me.

I think 3 or 4 could beat the 2 seed but I don’t realistically think they could beat CC at home. But 8AA could definitely take both advancing spots in the region. Either top teams could beat CC.

I think Coffee County (Manchester/Tullahoma) will beat Blackman/Oakland. Not sure if they can beat Riverdale. But if Bradley played Riverdale that would be my preferred matchup for sectional! But all of that will play out. I am just worried about Cookeville trying to get in opposite bracket as Bradley for Regionals. We have some work to do on Monday.

If you really want that to happen then Bradley needs to finish 2nd in Region. And I think only Riverdale will make it out of the Boro region. Coffee County is playing too well right now. And Tullahoma could pull an upset.

3-0 Cavs dominated rebounds and led entire game.

Part of that is right but we aren't a good 3 pt shooting team. We shoot alot of 3's but we don't shoot it well. The last two games we played WC we were 8/23 and 4/20 from 3. When we shot 4/20 we beat WC by 15. The key for WC to win is to not turn it over and rebound. They turned it over almost 20 times last game and like 24 times at Cookeville. And Cookeville out rebounded WC both games. Hmm isn't that the key for everyone to win. Yep. Keys for Cookeville to win. Defense: Limit easy shots for Mia. No second chance attempts. Force turnovers. Offense: Play fast. Attack rim. Get to the FT line. Don't settle for 3. Get to WC bench early.

I think Coffee Co and Tullahoma (after addition) have the firepower to beat several of the teams from other district. Probably not Riverdale but any of the others that I have seen.

I think 8AAA will have a team in finals of region unless there is an upset in district tournament.

Not sure I agree with you on this one. I haven’t seen Riverdale this year but we have played the 2-4 and beat Oakland and Blackman. Lost a close one to Stewart’s Creek this summer. This district definitely has teams that can be top two in region.

Well that isn't me. I don't root for other teams vs Upperman. I like watching them play. I go to several of their games each year. And I have watched them play in the finals the past two seasons. I actually like alot of the players on that team. There is no way we beat them the last 2 seasons. This year they are vulnerable but very talented. About the scores, 9pts was close to double digits. I was guessing on the score. I don't remember either one being a close game. You made me go look at the other one too. It was 22 pts @ Warren. So I guess I missed both. We did get beat by Sparta by 19 pts in the shootout and I gave them props then. We then beat them twice in a row. We can compare losses but that really doesn't prove anything. For example we beat a Lebanon team by 23 who lost to RIVERDALE by 3 at Riverdale. Does that mean we could beat Riverdale by 20? No. I am realistic. I have seen WC play in person 5-6 times this year and I have watched several games on Hudl. I feel that we have better players at most positions and a MUCH deeper bench. If we play like we did at the Sparta shootout then yeah they beat us. If we play like we did at EITHER of the other two games then we win by double digits. I am not saying that because I am from Cookeville. That is because I have seen both teams play numerous times. I have also seen Cookeville beat Dickson County, Blackman (weekend before first game), Oakland, Cleveland (twice), Station Camp, Lebanon, etc. The schedules are not even close. Like I said previously..Friday night.....the basketball don't lie. If they beat us I will be the first one on here to compliment them. I doubt others will do the same.

No idea to be honest but it was probably double digits at home and around 25 or so at Warren. I don't usually keep track on how bad we beat teams. But I can assure you that nobody came close to beating us by 30. Now stop trolling and trying to throw shade on CHS. Head back over to 8AA and worry about how your team is going to beat Macon and CC.

They did in fact beat CHS by 19 for the Sonic shootout trophy. We beat them in the two games that counted. And they for sure play better with her on the court. They have less turnovers with her in control. We have a better overall team and it will show on Friday. She played during the blow out loss to Rhea right? Or no?

Result....WC Finished tied for 3/4th. Based on past predictions of UCSF in this district, its officially a lock! Thanks UC, I was on the fence for my prediction before that post but now I have to go with the Cookeville sweep. Break out the brooms. This one won't be pretty. Cookeville not only wins....its gonna be by a couple touchdowns.

We beat them in both district games. If we can beat them on their home court we can beat them on a neutral court. But the teams are close. The main difference is the bench. We are much deeper. But if the Cookeville team that showed up the past few games shows up Friday we are in trouble.
