What are yalls predictions on this game?

i heard cunningham gain one of their better Olinemen back when copley returned copley started on the offensive line the year cunningham rushed for 1800 yards and did not play the next year and cunningham got barely a 1000 yards i cant wait to see what cunningham can do behind copley and the rest of Gc Oline i believe Gibson is going to upset some people this year

I believe cunningham is going to have a very good o line this im expecting big things from him

If I'm not mistaking, that happened again in 2006 with GC Baseball. So you just never know, it could happen in football too.

yea i know that but u have to remember a lot of those seniors did start i agree losing roberts and minyard are goin to hurt but they can be replaced we might have lost 16 seniors but we still have 14 starters returning from last year including rb cunningham and with four O linemen returning from last year so i think there offense will be just as good or even better than last year i think GC is goin to shock a lot of people this year

Yes, I am a GC fan and I was at the game but I can assure you that I am NOT one of the parents that makes out the lineup. I have supported GC baseball and Coach Messer and will continue to support him and the kids until the end. Yes, apparently there are a select few parents that have some pull with administration because TSSAA has given Messer the clearance to be an assistant coach for the rest of the year but apparently administration has told one group of parents that he would not be back and they have told another group of parents that they would get him back on the field as soon as possible. So now administration has to make a decision which set of parents they want to please and I guess we know which group they chose. Messer is a good coach and has done great things with the baseball program and I think they should let him return and finish the season he started. As for last nights game, I think when Copley walked the first batter of the seventh inning, that should have been the first clue to the so called coaches that he was getting tired and possibly needed a relief pitcher. But when you don't know the game of baseball, you don't know that those decisions have to be made at vital times in a game. As for me being a sore loser, you are so far from being correct. I support our kids and that's what it's all about. I just know that the Copley kid deserved a win and due to coaching, he didn't get it. Good luck to both teams.

It's pretty sad when a grown person can say something like a team "roped" and won in dramatic style when everyone at the game knows that Dyersburg had to wait until the bottom of the seventh when Copley had pitched the entire game and held them scoreless to "rope" him. If I'm not mistaken, Dyersburg's starting pitcher came out after 5 1/2 innings but that's the difference in having a real baseball coach and having a science teacher and a assistant principal standing on the sidelines trying to be coaches. The only drama taking place is with the administration at GC not caring enough about the baseball program to have made sure that the coach was legit with tests, waivers or whatever before this baseball season ever started. The only ones suffering for the administration's "oversight" is the kids, especially the seniors. They can't say there's always next year. This is their year to shine and I think they have done a heck of a job despite what administration has done. So if you want to pat yourself on the back and think you actually roped somebody, then go right ahead but I believe everyone knows how the game really ended.

Hey man you dont know both sides of the story martins players were the same way the were telling cunningham that he stunk and that he better get use to losing and telling us we stink so dont down our sportsmanship when martins isnt no better yall were just mad cause we won and i agree guy would have made a difference in that game but still he wasnt there so get over it we won thats all that matters nuthin else so dude dont talk about our class when yalls aint no better

Back in my day was when they still had prayer in school. Gibson County may not be on your prestige list of premier football programs but I gurantee they are at the top of the list of academics. I wonder which one will get you farther in life, a football state title or a academic state title? You know the old saying of "how the mighty will fall", I hope your premier program doesn't stumble Friday night. I think your coaches are a little worried since they've been to two of Gibson County's games already. Maybe they know something about your premier program that you don't and they are a little bit spooked. Could it be the list might be changing? Could it be?

I would think that both teams had to agree not to finish and the last time I looked, that game was not finished. Peabody and McKenzie both agreed to stay and finish their game on Friday night although the game meant nothing and Peabody was predicted to lose but you see what happened. The win was important to those two teams. So now what? Any more excuses?

Back in my day, you didn't want to risk injury in a scrimmage game but when the season started you went into every game wanting to come away with a win, region or non-region. Every game is important because when you win, you win as a team and teams need wins. Every other team that played Friday night stayed to finish or postponed it until Saturday but they finished. So does that mean that the Milan game was the only one that meant nothing or does that mean that a win as a team is not as important to them. But I'm sure you thought of that before you posted.

Does it make you a better team when you opt not to finish your first game because you're afraid you might lose.

have a great season coach you and your team just get out there give it your all and have fun thats what it is all about.

you might be right we will see . there are alot of players at gc if they were playing could be able of beatingany team thats what wrong with gc. can think of 5 or 6 right off hand. but we have what we have . dont get me wrong we have alot of players that are good with a lot of heart.and i hope that they will win more than 3 games. we need afew more skill players with good hands. that are watching from the side line.its to late now so lets play.

they didnt pass the ball all that much but when they went out the were wide open . they could of hit them all day long. they did complet more than one pass.

yes gc offensive looked good moved down to 11 with the run just passing when we had to . then just like in past years bad play calling started passing on every down. need to keep doing what moved you down the field. minyard passes were right on time but we have no hands to catch the ball. gc defense cant cover the pass. hope they get better.

yes your right if a is weaker than aa then aa is weaker than aaa where gc just came out of. and if iam right gc beat obion last year are you saying obion is weaker than a single a team. dont take this the wrong way . this is a new year and gc has a few new players playing. i think we can count on at least one win when we play obion. just a little perspective!!!!

it looks like robbie has a little more time to pass the ball than in the past. the o line looks to be better this year. just need to get more than haulk to catch the ball .drop to many passes right on the hands . makes robbie not look as good on paper.

gc looked alot better they made their tackles. your qb is vert under rated.

no one can say they were the winner.when you play 10 plays give ball to other team.good way to see how your team is doing and what yoy need to work on. dose not count.

yes i was there. the o line looked pretty good. the d line looked good in the middle. had problem on the out side and covering the pass. need to work on there tackling . missed a lot of tackles.
