This is a pretty good tune up for the Patriots before next week when they welcome Marivul. Riverdale is prob the most physical and best team they will see all year. Game 1 was a dogfight until that crazy play right before the half. I see Oakland winning this one 38 to 14 but Riverdale gives them some fits for awhile

Actually back around week 4 or 5 I stated that I would love to see Oak Ridge turn it around and become a juggernaut again and that it looked they were maybe a few cylinders or a year away. As of right now, this weeks game between them and West may be for the Gold Ball. No teams are playing better than Oak Ridge or West. Oak Ridge imo can make this a 4 qtr game, West is proven but Oak Ridge has a lot to prove. The first game was pretty tight and I feel like both teams have drastically changed and improved since then.

This is exactly what I said after watching the game in person. DB got inside the red zone 3 or 4 times. Had 1st and goal 3 times and got no points out of it. If you capitalize on that and score 2 out of 4 times the Alcoa game is a little different. But Marivul is a wayy more all around team than when they played Alcoee. You just never know. Play calling has got to be a little less predictable inside the red zone though if they want to even put it in the endzone this week

No love lost here, but in all reality, whether it be this week or next its going to be a home field loss and back to basketball season and the drawing board on how to make it past the quarterfinals. Hopefully this week that green team comes up there and shocks the world, but if not, then next week and Betsy will do

Marevulbiggal not that I'm confused but do the first 2 rounds even matter in 6a for division 1 and 2, i miss quoted the rounds. I personally look forward to the semis every year cause Marivul finally gets a true test. DB and McMinn is the only intriguing matchup until Oakland and Marivul

No I agree with that. DB has no secondary at all. They will need some stops or a break here and there to keep Marivul at bay. But I don't see anyone just running down DB throat no matter who the team is

I don't think DB will back down from Marivul this year. At the LOS i think its an even game. But we all know Marivul has the more all around team. DB is very physical and will keep hitting you in the mouth play in and play out. They have to find a way to be more unpredictable on offense & figure out a way to reduce the big plays in the secondary

This is a nice week for a pretty decent in county bye week before the playoffs start
