  1. No doubt, I've experienced that graciousness (sarcasm). Karma is real, hopefully I'll get to watch it come around.
  2. Can't believe I'm saying this....C'MON USJ!!!!!!! Beat them Bears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Right, but like I have been saying for a while....the level of competition at these smaller private schools is insane for the amount of athletes they have. The coaching, facilities, and hand picked athletes make the difference. Literally the x's and o's....Jimmies and Joes. Oh yeah, and in that instance...the Eric's too. LOL.
  4. Best Private vs public example I can think of was Lausanne vs Whitehaven. Beat them 2 years in a row. Little ole DIIAA Lausanne against a 6A Whitehaven powerhouse. Yeah...
  5. I hate that for CA especially. My son plays for Fayette Academy and we had hoped to play CA for our last game. We got a replacement for this Friday, but It'll put an end to the dumpster fire of a season COVID handed us. To top it off my kiddo got his arm broke in the Davidson game the week before...2020 can eat horse hockey as far as I am concerned. Oh well...there is always next year....for some folks.
  6. I like USJ by a field goal...if it isn't pouring buckets (which it may be). If USJ's air attack is stifled by rain, like the forecast predicts I like DA by 14. That running game for DA is a bear (pun intended).
  7. Hahahaha...that many USLP's just is what it is. I know that L stings but stop lashing out when someone states the obvious. Anyone else notice that when USJ didn't get the Dub that officials lost their gig? Wow...just wow.
  8. 6 unsportsmanlike penalties? Wow...very indicative of a bad team culture.
  9. Props to JCS! Upset Weekend!!!
  10. TSSAA should waive transfer requirements, this is clearly an exception. And yes, Joris Ray should summarily be dismissed. LET EM PLAY!!!!!!
  11. I'm giggling a little at the ones who felt they needed to speak up. I don't believe I mentioned anyone's name specifically.
  12. Yeah, and the situation was the same. MRBS shut down the football program and the athletes transferred...except they all paid tuition since there are no scholarships. Nice try though.
  13. I wonder if TSSAA will allow student transfers from SCS schools into the smaller county private schools. It would solve 2 problems...#1 it would allow the student athletes the opportunity to play, #2 it would level the playing field for those schools who don't have boosters who recruit athletes. Sauce for the goose so to say.
