Is thread more about Hilton’s coaching or schemes or development of players??? Seem to be a good dude, plus he was pretty successful at South. I am sure he needs a couple years before WR would think of making a coaching change

I would agree, DC only has 5-6 Sr. That plays meaningful minutes. Loaded with Jr’s and Soph. Kind of a rebuilding year, then the QB that has taken all the snaps in spring and summer goes down on the 3rd play of the 2nd game. So let’s see how this team progresses over the next 3-4 weeks before we just call them awful.

My God West is Fast, like really Fast, it’s just a different kind of Fast. Crockett played as hard as they could, but West is just a whole bunch Better and did I mention how fast they are. That RB is the Real deal, best of luck the rest of the way.

Hey Blazer, funny how DB and DC look a lot alike, the way they play hard nose, physical football. Maybe not the most talented team but will surprise you the way they play hard till the end. I think Coach Chandley got some of his coaching styles from Coach Jenkins. I am just glad we have a rivalry again.

Natural Grass, one of the best fields in upper East Tennessee. I gonna say the field won’t be a problem. I am a Crockett guy myself, but I do think Boone keeps it closer than people think. Keep it close until the 4th quarter and see what happens. Boone D is the strong point of there game, and special teams. Look for Coach Jenkins to kick away from Central’s speed. Kick offs will probably be thru the end zone. Best of luck to both teams and play injury free.

I will agree, Chandley has done a good job getting his kids to believe they can play with anyone. asking cause I haven’t seen West or Central play, are they fast and finesse or fast and physical ?? Because I think DC/DB will have to be able to run the ball and control the clock to keep it close.

I was at the game last night and I kinda disagree. I though Reid had some Key runs to get 1st downs, But that Defense was the the telling Factor. To keep that QB and WR’s in check pretty much all night. They had 2 big plays, 1 screen went for like 35yrds and the run to the 10 yrd line was a big play. I am gonna say they sacked the QB at least 5-6 times. QB played his best game to date, throwing and running the football.

I am pretty sure that in 2013 that Coach Chandley was in college at UVA-Wise. The young OC Ryan Burger might have been a Freshman or Sophomore on that Crockett team. I think this staff was all new 4 years ago when coach Chandley was hired.

Ok I checked, Mo west lost to Tn High, so they have 2 losses. DC wins, Mo West would be 2nd DB wins , DC would be 2nd I think this is right. i 100% think this game will come down to the 4th quarter and who can run the ball. Boone has a little more momentum, I hope with 2 weeks to prepare DC has a game plan to slow down the QB run. Should be a barn burner tho

I think both teams have to come away with points in the red zone. If the young QB throws it well for DC it makes them much more dangerous. I just hope it don’t rain like it did 2 years ago, everything on me was wet by the end of the 1st quarter. looking for a hard fought battle, line of scrimmage will be the key. Am I right that both teams have a home playoff game wrapped up??

This game will be a 1 score game, plus the last 4 years it feels like a rivalry game again. I mean you have to beat your rival more than 1 time every 12 years to be a true rivalry game. Just glad to see DC winning ball games and being competitive. Can DC stop the qb run?? Can Boone find #4 and slow him down?? This may come down to turnovers, DC has had 8-9 turnovers in the last 3 games vs Boone.
