  1. Boy have you changed your tune! What happened to your 13-1, or something like that, prediction? Reality set in?
  2. It looks like Baylor should roll in DII again this year. Any competition in the east? The Middle is loaded this year and the West is down compared to years past.
  3. Is Jeff Co. that good or is Halls suspect?
  4. Come on folks post some scores! Games at O.R. ? Games at Bearden? Games at S.D. ?
  5. YUK...purple and yellow not good for the eyes At the DII State tournament last year I thought Baylor, Webb, and BGA had the best looking unis.
  6. Cameron could have been a 3 sport star at Halls. Baseball could have been his best sport and he would have easily received a college baseball scholarship had he chosen to stick with baseball.
  7. Any competition from the East this year?
  8. McCallie should speak with Brothers (PJPII), Pack (Ensworth), Pemberton (Knox Catholic), Meske(Knox Webb). They have been successful at smaller DII schools are ready for this kind of challenge.
  9. Not so fast my friends! For the record the Middle has won 2 (Davidson and Brentwood Academy) while the East has won 1 (Webb School). Should be an interesting weekend and some GREAT football! Good Luck to everyone!
  10. Just a question-- Could schools like Maryville, Fulton, Ravenwood, and Alcoa play in DII if they wanted too? I think they would be allowed to and I could see the making of a super conference that would get national attention and produce numerous prospects every year. This would be great! I think any public school would be allowed to move up to DII.
  11. After seeing all 3 Div II State Championship games I really wish the TSSAA would put everyone back together. Davidson Acad, Knoxville Webb, and Brentwood Academy are very good teams but certainly would not be a lock to win their respective regions is in the Public league. One question could schools like Riverdale, Alcoa, Maryville, Fulton, and Ravenwood join Div II if they wanted too?
  12. Of Course DII AAA is the best in the state. That is why they were put in there own division. There is no comparison to the level of competition they play each week. It is survival of the fittest in DIIAA and the best team in the state wins thier State Championship. I agree with mofo- if you look at the teams the Owls have played and their losses vs DII AA teams it puts things in perspective.
  13. So, yeah, compared to the first half, JPII slowed them down considerably. Now that makes much more sense! Slowed them down but not Stopped!
  14. Does this makes sense? PJPII stopped Webb in the second half errr umm well except for 14 points. It doesn't sound like they stopped them at all. Is it true that PJPII had the lead with less than 5 minutes to play?
