I'm not arguing in Powell's favor at all here FYI. Totally agree with you that it is sad people in the community stand for this. Especially since he is so smug an arrogant about it on social media. Just not sure how they can continue punishing the kids/team when it is a coach/administration problem!

Agree. Not sure it is fair to just end their season or make them forfeit if the only allegations are coaches recruiting players after a game. Not fair to the kids IMO

I believe they are investigating coaches speaking with players after games so I would assume a punishment (if any at all) would be to a coach and not to the team.

Young was ejected for "targeting" early in that game so that is not true

He hired Josh Jones the off-season after playing an ineligible player so.... but agree with your point that nothing will happen with this investigation. Mainly he said, she said. Sucks last year tho... Seems like the main people punished were the kids when the adults were at fault. Hopefully if a punishment IS handed out, the appropriate people are punished this time.

As previously mentioned #2 is very good. I believe their QB got hurt early and some said he may be back for the playoffs? Any info on this? If not they may run a lot of 'wildcat' and direct snap to #2 (like they did against Central all night).
