Not at all. Regardless what happens Saturday I’m dang proud of this team and what they have accomplished this year. Just got a feeling they ain’t done yet.

Only thing more dangerous than a back 2 back state champion is a back 2 back state champion underdog. It’s all good though, we’ve been wrote off since that Greeneville loss.

Gotta get healthy this week. I think we had some banged up boys last night and that restricted a lot. No excuses this week, 1 more game. We aren’t the only team with injuries at this point.

Will be much tougher than the last 2 championships, that’s for sure. I’m confident in this staff and the way they prepare. We will be ready. We also have that been there done that edge, it’s all business this week. Let’s go get another one!

You won’t be kicking off 8 times total against Elizabethton. I’m not saying we win or lose. Watched the first half against Pearl Cohn and first half against Haywood and “fast start” is not what I’d describe. Very good football team Tullahoma has but don’t underestimate this Defense. It’ll be the best you’ve seen.

I agree. This game will come down to coaching. Betsy will have to take some shots to win this game. I think our defense will keep us in any game but the offense is going to have to take some chances.

Thanks! Tullahoma is a new one for us so I’m sure our guys are already watching film and preparing. Our defense has really stepped it up as the season progressed. Great season to the Bee’s and look forward to future games. I’m positive y’all will be back!

I’m not joking, upperman has some very good athletes. That is a state caliber team next year. Clean up the mistakes and don’t get away from what you do best. Hind sight is 20/20 but I’m sure uppermans coach will kick himself the whole ride home. Those boys have nothing to hold their heads down for though, tough bunch of kids.

Sour grapes.... don’t want to eat crow after their pregame show last night. Disciplined football teams don’t make mistakes, we didn’t make mistakes. They did. Their qb is an athlete, but definitely not a passer. Their defense was tough, but didn’t stop us when they needed to. Good game from Upperman, very good football team. The better team won the game, despite what their radio guys think.

I think with the addition of the Knoxville area teams and region 2 it’s forced tullahoma to move west. I’m not sure it’s a bad thing for y’all though.

Alright.... time for some midweek heat. My score prediction...... 35-14 Elizabethton. We win the trenches, nothing fancy. Safe travels to all the Bee faithful and happy thanksgiving. Come early and enjoy the region, upper East Tn is one beautiful place!

It’s funny to me because people have called Elizabethton the carter county all star team for a few years now but Friday night we have 3 teams in the same county playing semi finals.

That’s always the excuse for losers.... they recruit, illegal players, blah blah blah.

It will definitely help set a standard for the program and how to raise the bar. We have been fortunate to take some beatings from Greeneville over the years and it raised the bar at Elizabethton. Now we are trying to take that bar one step higher.

Has this thread really turned into crying over East getting blown out by Greeneville?? Water is wet and goes under bridges. If you don’t like it, get better.

That’s been a big thing for us is scheduling tough games out of region. Rhea county(5a), Anderson county(4a), and always science hill(6a) to go along with Greeneville during the season has paid off.
