Ha,ha.You can't take everything on coacht as a serious post.For instance...Stars,the most well liked Maryville fan possibly on coacht has already said Maryville might finish at the bottom of their conference.So,I will run with that and say Maryville isn't a problem this year for DB.Now ,in all seriousness, Elizabethton has beaten Science Hill in the past and have a great team coming back,true.Maryville has beaten" everyone" in the past and always has a great team.The thing is everyone knows it takes a great game to beat Maryville and only a very few programs have done it in the last couple of decades .So yes it can be done and yes DB will have to be better then it has been to do it .Elizabethton has a fine program but there is another program right down the road that no Betsy fan or coach is going to overlook.So,it's a very real possibility of Elizabethton not even getting halfway to Knoxville in the playoffs,much less back to the title game.

He might get a ring at DB.It's not a given that Elizabethton would even get out of NET in the playoffs.

I'm thinking if all schools started out atleast partial virtual if not completely and letting the kids into school with much smaller numbers at a time.Then every team team took care of it's own health situation as they will. We might see many of this years seniors get what we all want.We may disagree across the state on how it needs to be done but believe me,this is a much bigger decision then just be a man or hide in the basement.

I don't know the young man but as I said on the other thread, I'm guessing it has to be a deal that be maybe has family in Kingsport or in that area of Kentucky.A little different then college ball where he will soon pick any part of the nation he wants to play at the next level.

Seems like every year there is a story like this in Kingsport . Most years this would be the talk above everything around town.I hope it ends up being that way this year.The next few weeks will tell the story on everything .

There are coaches on the DB staff that I have always liked.Some were coaches and some even teammates with when my kids were there. Like everything in Kingsport, there is still some political stuff but that's everywhere you go.The weight room and facilities are second to none . Kingsport deserves a powerhouse team because of what our community has put into DB.Roll Tribe

Stars, I hope they go back to that 6A playoff system that let every team make the postseason.It would be terrible for those poor Maryville boys not to get to travel and play atleast one playoff game.

Like president Trump said, it's going to be worse before it gets better.This is just my opinion from what I've seen so far.We will find out very quickly what the numbers look like.Starting when the schools that are going to open with kids coming in.I personally don't think there will be enough willing substitute teachers within a couple of months .

Like Sergeant Shultz,I know nothing about the young man coming or not to Kingsport.I have seen his highlights and he is simply a special talent.Football has so many parts to it and to play on Maryville's level it will take an extremely talented and greatly coaches team.In East Tennessee class 6A,the road always goes through Maryville before you can even think about Oakland.So to be the best,it will take beating not one but two or three great teams.It can be done but it will have to be done on a year around working bases to make that happen.

Foreman was so fast that you could see he was slowing down as he was getting close to the end zone but still pulling away from defensive backs.If that makes any sense.

Either way it was a great DB team that ran into a typical Maryville team.My middle son lost on that same field with some of those seniors when they were in the 9th.2009 was Maryville showing a lot of class to just win 40-0. The lights went out before that game and I thought the good Lord might be a DB fan . I found out he was just telling his coach to take it easy on those boys from Kingsport.

I don't know all the details on how Herman Cain got it but from everything I've seen on rep.Gohmert,he has been kind of doing like the preast in caddyshack when it comes to covid.

I was thinking Maryville fumbled on the first play deep in it's own end and then DB turned right around and fumbled it back .

Either way just like in 2012,DB will need Maryville to hand them a gift or two and not give it back the next time.Wouldn't hurt anything for the Rebs to have one of those down years where they lose a game or two.

I truly understand both views and just like in politics, nobody is going to change the other sides opinion.Thats why you should never argue with someone who has a completely different political view , religious belief,or any stance totally different from your own.That is also exactly why our leaders in the state and DC.can't do anything halfway,most of the time.The only thing that will change either sides view on this virus is if there is a therapeutic drug to cure covid on one side or it hits home with someone like it did Texas representative Louie Gohmert .
