Both teams have a lot of returning players. Both teams have been tested. Both have skilled players. People wanna doubt UC line because the size but the strength and heart outweigh the size difference. Dresden has some big boys on the line and they are good players. UC has a defensive front that would give most people fits and linebackers that will hit you in the mouth. Dresden has a good defense and have not allowed many points this year except to westview. This will be a great game. No need in trash talking. These teams are about as evenly matched as I’ve seen this year. My pick is Union City of course but I think they will meet again in the playoffs which will make for another great playoff matchup. Question is will it be in UC or Dresden. I say Union City. UC 42-9 42-3 when 2nd string came in. Greenfield has a decent passing game if they had a OLine. That QB will be great the next few years.

It’s not my math it’s a census and that’s also kids as far and young kids too and some that go to Obion county HS and also several of the county elementary schools. So yes Union City is towards the top of the 1A numbers but still below the 2A level that TSSAA sets. No arguing Greenfield has less kids but both are in the same bracket set forth by the TSSAA.

Huntingdung 4,373 12% of the population is 10 to 19 years old

Only 15% of the population is made up of kids ages 10-19 years old

I guess all the elderly people that live in Union City play on the team.
