McEwen's RB was about all they had. They had some size on their line. They had no passing game at all. MC made adjustments at halftime, and shut them down. MC had some busted plays, turnovers that killed drives, or it could have got ugly.

Chapel hill got smoked by Loretto, and MC didn't. Boohoo

Salem is still hurt over the thrashing Loretto gave chapel hill. I see white playing all the snaps at QB unless it gets way out of hand. He wont come in on defense unless it's a must. I will give Loretto's o-line credit, because they whipped us last year.

What I have seen is that a lot of these youth coaches have never even played the game. They have no idea what it is like to even strap on a helmet and play a legit game. Everything they know is what they have seen on TV, and they never actually lived it.

It almost came a week to late. Hats off to WC for putting up a good fight. They just kept playing hard nosed football.

We have to get some kids healed up for sure. Thank goodness for a bye week. It came at a great time.

Sounds like they were intimidated from the start. I don't blame them. I was a little intimidated myself when I walked around the field, and I wasn't even playing. I was so surprised at their size.

No way Moore County should drop like that after standing toe to toe, and going blow for blow with Fayetteville city. That Fayetteville team is bigger, faster, and more talented than the Fayetteville team of 2020.

I remember the helicopter landing on the practice field. Good times!

Not enough attention has gone to #25 Smith for MC. He is middle linebacker and 10th grader. He has stepped up big. He has a nose for the football.

All but one starting receiver are juniors as well. #2 Morey didn't even play the 2nd half with a hand injury. (He is the starting FS and a big vocal leader on this team). We have to get healthy,but I am extremely proud of our backups. They came in and didn't flinch. Next man up!

Luckly I was able to get the smoked bologna before it ran out. I don't know if there is anything better. If you're ever at a moore county baseball game, they have great fried bologna sandwiches, but you got to get it early.

The difference in this game was a couple of turnovers. What happened to 40 at halftime. City is a really good team, but the tiger faithful are a little to cocky. This was a game well into the 4th quarter.

I will take your word. They all transferred over last year. Don't be ashamed if it was legal, and I have no reason to think it wasn't. If we had transforms from tullahoma, that would be great, but we don't.

2020 yes, but we have no tullahoma tranfers on the field this year. It's hard to compete against a state championship.

Where was city disrespected? They are an extremely good team. Were they disrespected because everyone knows that last year there were several LC players transfer to city and and were eligible at the end of the season or this year? I for one said nothing about city doing wrong. It's just hard to compete against LC 2.0 in 1A. Sorry, that lost sentence may have been a little disrespectful, idk.

After reading these post from the tiger faithful, maybe our boys should just stay at home Friday night. Looks like city already has it in the bag. I wonder if city will even practice this week.

I commend him for being out there. He has got to be brave, but I was actually afraid he was going to get hurt. I'm glad no one took a shot at him. Not saying our kids would do that, but they are just kids.
