  1. I'll go WAY out on the limb. I'll say Young starts but is not 100%. He doesn't finish the game. Hooker takes care of the ball as usual and Tillman does play. He's not the normal Tillman but plays a good role as a possession receiver. Both teams go #### for tat until Tennessee's defense is able to stall a few drives with some resulting in only 3. Their defense will break most occasions but will have a couple of "bend" moments. Special teams will play a major role as well. Alabama 27 Tennessee 38
  2. Curious how you ended up a dawg then? I am a MTSU grad because they were the only one that offered a scholarship. I didn't know if it was one of those type situations. Good to see Peabody still rollin' this year!
  3. Tennessee is a 7.5 underdog. The key to Tennessee's victory is they absolutely cannot turn the ball over.
  4. Yeah I hate that 95.9 switched. Having to try to catch the games online has been brutal. I think it may be student ran which I'm all for but their radio personalities are not students. I'd rather hear students than Deal and whomever they put on with him. Half the time, he doesn't tell you what yard line the ball is on and he doesn't update the score near enough. I tuned in one game and he announced the score only once during an eight minute drive that stopped for two different team time outs. Always remember to announce the time, down, and ball location above all else.
  5. Moore County is good. Teams like McKenzie and Fayetteville are GREAT. Anything can happen on any given night and I hope MC's defense does improve, but I don't see them knocking off McKenzie AND Fayetteville in back to back weeks in the playoffs. They just don't have the horses. Keep in mind that the subpar defense has also been affected by injuries. Hopefully some of those kiddos are healthy in 3 weeks.
  6. If Lucky is better, I'd hate to hear the other guy. Lucky has the knowledge. He just doesn't have the voice. I wasn't sure if it's his voice that breaks up like it does, or if the radio station just has poor equipment that is making him sound that way. Ken Keller is a great color analyst. Despite some medical issues, the guy perseveres and does an excellent job. I'm hoping one day he'll get partnered up with someone else. The LightTube Cable feed is also on youtube as an audio feed if you ever miss a game or don't travel for the away contests.
  7. It also helped that after Pearl Cohn, Tullahoma was fortunate enought to play Hillwood and Montgomery Central. Friday night inside Wilkins Stadium should be a fun one!
  8. Why do folks pay over $100 a year to chat on their platform when things could be discussed here at no charge? What am I missing?
  9. I think you are spot on. Tullahoma, if making the playoffs, would face Lexington. If they somehow managed to pull the upset over the #1 seed, I believe it would be a rematch with Marshall Co who will take out Chester Co. Long way to go though. This is a fun time of year! It's good to see the team take advantage of the back half of the schedule. These are games we expect them to win, and they are finally relatively healthy along with suspended players returning. Time to make some hay while the sun is shining!
  10. I know you can't really base things off head to head but using a common opponent Creek Wood as the measuring stick, Tullahoma played them closer than Greenbrier did. I believe Tullahoma handles the Bobcats. We shall see. As they say...that's why they play the game.
  11. The NFHS bad stream made it appear we were holding. Game was clean
  12. I hate to hear that. Maybe they refocus and finish strong. Good luck the rest of the way!
  13. With Creek Wood beating Greenbrier, this all of a sudden has become very interesting. I'm wondering everyone's projections AT this point. Give me your four that make it. Pearl Cohn wins the region 8-0 Marshall Co finishes 7-1 (only loss to Pearl) Creek Wood finishes 6-2 (I think they win out.) Tullahoma finishes 5-3. (I believe they can beat Glencliff and Greenbrier. The toss up game is Lawrence Co.) Greenbrier finishes 4-4 (They have a tough schedule at the end.) Lawrence Co finishes 3-5 (They will beat Hillwood but I believe that is their last region win unless they knock off Tullahoma.) Hillwood finishes 2-6. Montgomery Central finishes 1-7. Glencliff finishes 0-8. Lots of football left to be played. Can't wait!
  14. Was there a particular reason so many starters were out? Injuries? This loss is shocking!!!
  15. Great job by the offense to step up on a night that the defense couldn't find a rhythm.
  16. @Salem Looking like Lee Corso lol Game is tight at the half.
  17. I guess a part of me is hoping for a healthy MC rematch against Fayetteville. That would be sweet but it's going to be tough row to hoe.
  18. Chapel Hill is not as bad as their record indicates. They are as bad as their current coaching. It's sad to see so much talent wasted. It's gotta hurt for the whole fan base.
  19. Realistically I don't think Moore Co can go that far in the post season BUT I know they can't without White. He gives them a legit shot to upset anyone. I just hope not much is risked in this contest. It's just not worth it.
  20. Montgomery Central solidified themselves in the bottom 3. Next week should be a better matchup for the Cats.
  21. The key is the next two weeks if Tullahoma wins tonight. That's where the tiebreakers will be made. Gonna be an uphill battle.
