Regardless of how you do in the region or the district tournanaments, you are on the verge of a perfect district season and that is a huge accomplishment. Chris, Nick, Wes, Clint, Frank, Logan, Kaleb, BJ, Briar, Bubba, Eli, Jimbo, Michael, Zack, and Neylan, each one of you deserve to go to Murfressboro. Ya'll have left it ALL on the court. We as a community couldnt be more excited for you heading into the post season. B-O-B-B-Y, couldnt have done it without you!

  4. I wanted to put in my 2 cents worth. Emmy is a great lady on and off the court!! I am sure she had her reasons for leaving the team. Although we are sad to say we have seen her wear a lady eagle jersey for the last time. We respect her and her family and they have the support of many people in the "Eagle Nation" ( i just had to use your quote SF). GOOD LUCK EMILY.

  11. You represented the district well in the state!! Now go and show the world what tennessee has to offer. GOOD LUCK FROM SUMMERTOWN DIXIE YOUTH 11-12'S.
  12. I also want to pat Coach burleson on the back for a good job of Hosting the tourney. He did very well and so did Coach Winters, Coach Blackwood and Coach Thompson. And a great big thank you to the many volunteers that worked the concession stand, the gate and the field. Ya'll pulled it off nicely!!
  13. the rules for JV games in all sports including softball..........THERE ARE NO RULES. The games are not sanctioned, there does not have to be a ref or umpire present. You can play all your starters or none. They are nothing more than scrimmage games. It is up to that team's coach to pick from those that do not see enough playing time.
  14. TSSAA rule states that they must have the same administration. Example the 8th grader is in a different building WITH a different principal that player is ineligile for high school. If the 8th grader is in a different building WITH the same principal that student is eligible. But please remember that they are only eligible for 5 years. If that student plays as an 8th grader and then fails a grade that student will be ineligible as a Senior. TMSAA rules are the same except that they are only eligible for 3 years. If your school is not sanctioned by TSSAA ot TMSAA these rules DO NOT apply to your school. I hope that has helped you some.
  15. yes the TSSAA and TMSAA rules state that ALL players must be uner the same administration (principal). But you must remember that high school players are only allowed 5 years on the same team. If an 8th grade student plays then fails a year he will be ineligible as a Senior. The same rule goes into effect on middle school play also. The 6 th grader that plays on the middle school team is only eligible for 3 years. If that player fails a grade they will be ineligible their 8 the year. If your school is not part of TMSAA or TSSAA there are no rules in regard to the same administration.
