I have a few things to say about Mt. Pleasant. They were supposed to be so great this year but didnt even get out of the region. Wayne County bet them 4 times this year and wayne county wasn't rank all year. Number 2 how in the world did coach boyd get coach of the year in district 12A. He had by far the most talented team in the district and finished 3rd or 4th during the season. I didn't think that he coached that team well at all. Webster should have touched the ball everytime down the court.

I am just happy that Jamar Jenkins (the most overrated player in the state is not nominated). I am just confused about him signing DI. I know of two NAIA coaches who said he wasn't good enough to play on that level.

Zach is the man but i hear that their coach is not all that great.

Anyone know of any jr high team camps in the middle tn area?

By far the worse ref in the state is the gay acting ref, Drake. He refs alot of district 12A. He is a kind of ref that just wants to be seen. He is horrible.

Bleak1, I was not going to reply but i could not let someone talk about my little brother like they way you are doing. Justin probably made some mistakes last year with his attitude. He was a young soph. who felt his team could do better. My family and I have been though a lot over the last few months and your comments really hurt . I restated some of my comments about last years team. I thought that you played hard and tried to do good for the team. Why do you have to keep getting on here and bash my little brother. I just dont understand why when someone talks good about Justin it drives you crazy. You are a football player who is very good at what you do. So just lay off Justin please. He is trying very hard to put all of you guys behind him. I just wish this will stop! He is moving on. He doesn't care what Collinwood people think of him but his family does. I don't need you to apologize, just please stop writing these foolish posts. Grow Up!!!!

Correct me if i am wrong. Justin led Collinwood in assist. He shot over 40% from three(that is awesome) He is not a great defender but name one person on the team that played defense. Collinwood played mostly zone last year anyway.

I should have stated most of the players. I was certainly not naming any names. Don't get so defensive!!!!! But seriously on the whole, last years team was a joke. I seen them play and got to practice with them a few times------I was shock by how the team was ran. Certain players got to practice when they wanted to, certain players laughed and goofed off on the bench when they were losing by 20. .............So i am happy that you informed me that your son was playing to win. I have been around your son alot and i know he is a winner....................... All I know is that Justin is in a better situation this year than he was the last two seasons.

The last statement that you just made is the reason why Justin left Collinwood in the first place because the coach, the principal, and the players did not give a "flip" if they won or lose. Justin puts in too many hours during the summer and playing AAU not to give a "flip". For the attitude adjustment, Justin attitude is great right now since he is with a coach and teammates that want to win!!!!!!!!

Both teams are struggling putting the ball in the basket lately but Collinwood does have the edge on defense. If Cassie Brewer and Reagan Greer play big down low the Trojans will come out on top. Look for a good game out of Brianna Thompson who is playing against her old team. She is a very mature freshman who has already made clutch plays for the Trojans this year. The key for Waynesboro is the outside play of McNutt. If she is on Collinwood better watch out. Should be a fun game to watch!!

Collinwood Middle School has a solid squad that is led by Abby Andrews who is a wonder to behold.

Can anyone give me some scores in District 12A?

I do not know this new coach but if he is looking for a mentor he has a great one in the same town that he is coaching in. His name is Gene McBee. He is one of the greatest coaches these parts have ever since. He has seen and coached basketball for about 200 years. Coach McBee could really help this guy if he needed it.

Lewis County people are idiots

My best friend Wes Miller is the new assistant coach at JCM and he said that Bolivar beat them by about 15. He said that Bolivar was loaded with talent and that Kemp the point guard is the best player he has seen in a long time.

The best thing that could happen to Wayne County tonight is if Sparkman gets a few dunks early because that is all he cares about. He will be satisfied for the rest of the night. Sparkman could dominate if he stayed on the block but he likes to drift to the arc to much. I seen Lewis County play this summer they have a very solid team. I like the two wings. I think their numbers are 22 and 32. #22 can shoot the lights out of the 3 and #32 is a hardnosed player that takes it to the basket. This is going to be a great game. Wayne County is coming off of a lose so they will be ready to compete tonight.

Gomad, You can say what you want to about your boy. I am sure that he is a great kid and he will have a great season playing in single A ball but he is not a DI player. I have seen him recently play and he is not athletic enough nor does he shoot well enough to play on that level. Sorry!!!

I live in Clifton and know alot about this kid. He has transferred to Wayne County this season to suit it up for the Wildcat. Collinwood's basketball program is going done hill from what i hear. I have seen this kid since he was in Middle School. He is not very athletic but he is one of the best shooters i have ever seen. I know his coach and he says that Justin lived in the gym spending about 3 hours a day in Wayne County's furnace of a gym. He is a great kid. I hope that he takes it easy on us this year.

Perry County Vikings of 1997. I think that is the correct year. That is the best single A team that i have ever seen. They had it all. The best player in the state, Kirk Haston. An athletic player that played aboved the rim, Chris Jones. A great shooter, ? forget his name. A lightning quicker guard, Corey Brown. And maybe the most important thing a great coach.

I am a little older than Jamar so i have never player against him but i assure you if we had the opportunity to play he would not dunk over me. I have seen this kid play for about 5 years now and he is a solid Single A player but not the god that Gomad makes him out to be.
