Yes and the fact they didn’t lose rather it’s by default or not they still didn’t lose to a team that has only won 2 games all year. And best of luck to LC , WC, Dresden and Greenfield and may the best team win. Congrats to all on just getting through the season as challenging it may have been it being a COVID year. Only team truly undefeated is COVID-19 so nothing is for sure for any team going forward.

Greenfield could very well lose. I am not saying they won’t. All I am saying is that they are 8-0 and region champs but no one gives them any respect. There’s a reason why the AP has them #3. What was lake county record 5-10 years prior to Puckett and when he left. I think if you compare the two times you will see lake county in a much better place after he left than what it was when he got. But regardless of what anyone thinks of Greenfield there record is still 8-0 and they are region champs. heck who knows they may even lose tonight but it still won’t change the fact they have had a better season than Lake County this year.

I don’t believe Greenfield is going to have there way with anyone of the 3 of their teams form the region. I think they all 4 are pretty close and the all the teams will need to play good mistake free football to win. The team with the less mistakes in any of those matchups will be hard to beat. I do think a team from this region will come out of the west. Huntingdon is gonna do what Huntingdon does in playoffs and that’s choke for whatever reason. They are a good team most years and a tough out but for some reason rather it’s coaching or something else they don’t seem to be able to get the monkey off there back.

Your right Dresden is better team now than at the beginning of the season just like West Carroll and Greenfield. Let’s not act like every team in the region is better except for greenfield. All the teams learn a lot about themselves though out the year and this is when it matters most who is playing there best and it’s hard to argue against Any of the top 3 in Greenfield, Lake County and WC. Would not surprise me if any of these 3 teams made it out of the west this year.

I was legitimately asking because I don’t much about WC other than what the record is and what they have done against similar teams played. It to be honest I have never seen a team that was ranked so high on multiple poles and the overwhelming opinion of most is they are over rated. But good luck to both teams come Friday and congrats to Greenfield on a great season.

It’s been a long time. They have started off 8-0 before multiple times before losing the last 2 games of the season. I expect this to be a good game either way but I think greenfield will find a way like they have all year. Mr. Pitt is a great young coach and knows the game very well.

What’s so special about West Carroll that no one is giving greenfield a chance? WC is 5-3 for starters and lost to a team that is 2-8 right now In Fayette Academy and let’s don’t forget about them losing to Dresden in which greenfield also beat on there way to an undefeated season so far. I take greenfield 32-20.

You can only beat who’s on your schedule, and that’s what they have done so far. Then and West Carrol this week should be a great game. Figure it will be with in 1 possession either way.

You forgot about them Greenfield Yellow Jackets that are currently ranked #3 and not getting any respect from most people. Maybe when they win in the 3rd round maybe people will start to give them credit for what they have done all season. Them and Lake County have identical/similar scores and records against teams they both played. Only difference is LC played a very good out of region game against Westview. Other than they both match up good against each other.

Anything is possible with Covid playing this year. They have yet to lose a game.

Can we just talk about football. If I wanted to watch and read about politics in sports I would watch the NFL.

I think everyone will get to see this match up in the playoffs as long as both teams can dodge the Covid. Seems like Covid is undefeated regardless who Covid plays. Best of luck to both teams moving forward.

Congratulations to Greenfield on being region champs. They didn’t win the region on this one game. They had to play a great season and won every game leading up to this game to have the opportunity to be Champs.

Not sure what Lake County has done so special this year to think they should be the overwhelming favorite much less deliver a blow out. Yes this is most definitely a different LC team than last year, but this is also a different team for Greenfield also than last. I like to look at common opponents that they have both played to get a general idea. Does it mean much prolly not but it does give you an idea. The scores between common games that both have played the scores look very similar. I think this will be a good game form start to finish regardless if LC has 15 players or 30 players.
