  1. Just read some of the previous post and add them up. Read the Tssaa rules about residency and eligibility. We have had people to move in to district and live with a relative and our coaches and administrators know you have to live with parents or whoever has court ordered supervision. That is pretty simple.
  2. Milan. Don’t think you will have to worry about covington Coming out of the shadows that much after you put 2 of their QBs out. We beat them with their wildcat QB in there. Covington is still good but they will need a QB to transfer In to help them beat y’all.
  3. Just found this out. Like the quote said Tssaa doesn’t allow dual residency. The boys from Jackson are not brothers and their handler BlackWallStreet still lives in Jackson and still has the address in Jackson when they went to liberty. The problem is Tssaa does not allow juveniles to live in a household with no parental guidance. Was told there are no parents living in the house in Milan. Plus who owns the house they are living in Milan and who is paying mortgage or rent. Who is paying utilities. These are the questions the Tssaa will ask. Yes. They were shopping around to coaches of other teams in west Tn. Probably didn’t go to Milan earlier because there was no coach in place. Someone said in another post that a Milan booster owned the house which is another Tssaa violation. Hope none of this true but if it is. It is bad. That’s what I read how they have busted cases in Memphis usually basketball cases. Not being negative BPM. Hope you understand. Innocent players will suffer.
  4. You are right big purple machine like I said earlier the kids that are homegrown players are the ones who will suffer but they will be punished and if any of this is true the coaches administrators and handler’s need to be punished. But like someone said earlier. Greg Scott is on the TSsaa board so probably nothing will be done Big purple machine yall probably need to find the handler named Black Wall Street and ask him questions
  5. You are right. Boys basketball had to forfeit all their games before playoffs. I think they were ranked #1 in the state at the time. Like I said innocent people had to suffer
  6. Supposedly the boys are living at 2 addresses. One In Jackson and one in Milan. Can’t have dual residency. Tssaa They have a handler that goes by BlackWallStreet. After he was mentioned on here. He went dark and private on Instagram. He has supposedly talked to numerous coaches in west Tn about them going to there school before landing in Milan. Someone posted this earlier on other link before it went down.
  7. It doesn’t matter who gave up the Info. Wrong is wrong. Like I said last night I feel for the homegrown Milan kids that might be punished. The adults are to be blamed. Coaches. Administrators. Handlers Never thought high school football would turn out like AAU basketball. But several Milan people on this board said Milan would do whatever to get back to the glory days. Coach Morris won on homegrown talent and hard work. That’s what is wrong with society everywhere. No one wants to work hard. Looking for shortcuts.
  8. BigPurpleMachine I assume you know most of the Milan Faithful. I don’t go on social media but some kids found a guy that goes by “BlackWallStreet “ on Instagram. Pumping up the Milan football program as a booster. It’s some alarming pictures of your football players from Jackson or Milan holding wads of cash At a house in Jackson. Maybe they were getting the rent money for the duplex in Milan.
  9. Probably no one on hear can produce evidence. Best way is to call the high school tomorrow and ask the man if an investigation is going on. See what he says. Then let us know. Call the Milan newspaper. The Jackson sun. The union city paper. The dyersburg gazette. Call the tssaa. See if they know something.
  10. First of all. We hope these adults. Coaches. Administrators. Handlers. Didn’t orchestrate this situation. The players couldn’t do this. It’s was adults. The people who will suffer the most will be the true players of Milan. The homegrown boys that grew up wanting to wear the purple and white of Milan. To be a homegrown Bulldog. The parents that have spent tax dollars living in Milan who helped build your new stadium. These are the young men who will suffer. The ones who wanted to be the next Rod Smith or Caleb Powell. #5 who was in line to be the next QB until a transfer was brought in to take his place. If any of this is true. I hope you are sincere BigPurpleMachine when you say the right people are To be punished if found guilty. An earlier person post Milan is tired of 5-6 win seasons. We will do what we have too to get back to the Ole Bulldawg way. That is desperation that will get you in trouble. Tssaa bylaws state that coaches and administrators are responsible for what goes On in their programs. Greg Scott should know this. He was a member of the Tssaa Board of control. Milan is not a big town. Everyone knows when something is going good or bad.
  11. Haha. You might have an upset stomach from chicken wings and too many Natty lites. Just joking. like I said earlier Coach Franks will keep it close.
  12. Is Lane Kifgin cool or Nick Saban cool.
  13. I agree totally. Covington will be ready. You remember last year. We beat them in Covington. Our boys were ecstatic. In the playoffs at the Hornets nest. Covington made a few more adjustments than us and there playoff experience came out. Hope the shoe is on the other foot this year. Wonder how this Milan stuff will effect the region.
  14. Where are the Marty Wheeler haters now. Give him a chance. Trying to take a bottom feeder program to the top in 2 years is impossible in high school. I bet year 3 he will make at least 3rd round of playoffs. he turned covington around in year 3.
  15. Going to take Crockett Co. Coach Ward will make the adjustments to win. Dyersburg is on their end of the year slide.
  16. Been living under a rock you got to get started sometime though.
  17. Better hope Alcoa goes To 4A or 5A. If not I’m afraid West Tn. Is playing for the Silver Ball in 3A. Just ask Covington their teams have been real good and well coached and they still ended up short several times.
  18. Coach Franks will pull something out of The hat. He is a good coach. Always wins with less talent than most.
  19. I know last week when we played Covington , yalls starting Qb was out. Saw he was rated in the state at QB at #8 Would he be a difference maker against SG or Milan. Would he have made a difference.
  20. ChargerFan you are probably the wisest and most knowledgeable person on the board. Do you think Simpson can play at ole miss or Memphis. Have either of these schools offered him. Both schools will be looking for a QB next year.
  21. You are right rod smith and Anthony brown are very similar In size with rod being a more physical player. Rod looked a lot stronger than the Brown kid. I think Brown plays WR in college , them college coaches love 6’3 guys who can go up and catch the ball. The Simpson kid at QB , he will have to find a school that fits him. Like we said in an earlier post , the Lowe kid from Bolivar was a great QB also. He never played a snap for West Virginia. Caleb Powell was good and the Lomax kid that played QB at covington was good and they didn’t get a sniff from major colleges. Luckily they were good baseball players. Good QBs from around here haven’t been successful at the next level. Hope it changes with Simpson.
  22. Sorry to offend you but to compare me to a high school kid and to disrespect my knowledge of the game of football I just threw a little back toward you. We are all just having some fun. Maybe we will have an All Gibson County 3rd round match up. Now that will be fun.
  23. Does it matter if it is 3 transfers or 6. Milan wouldn’t be as good as they are now without them. Anthony brown is 75% of your offense. Does it matter if I’m 15 yr old JV player or the QBs grandfather. It’s just my opinion. BigPurpleMachine who are you. Offensive coordinator for Milan or do you play the flute in the band.
  24. That’s odd that your saying the transfers wouldn’t be there if your new coach wasn’t there. he seems like a good coach , but Coach Stidham is a good coach and we have been getting better each year and we don’t have D1 players knocking our door down. Jeff Morris was a great coach at Milan with a ring and he wasn’t getting 5-6 transfers a year.
  25. This is true with any high school quarterback or any quarterback in football there’s only a couple that handle pressure from Tom Brady to Trevor Lawrence so don’t put that knock on the young man That’s why I think he will be at a prep school like IMG instead of Martin Westview next year
