Yes because I said we wasn't a very good football team this year and that Springfield would win the region. He said he bet me $50 that Henry County would win the region and all that. Maybe I just seen something in this team before other folks didn't i dont know...

Well without our starting RB, best WR, two best DB's, I would say otherwise. We had trouble scoring with those guys playing, how do you think its going to be with those guys out?

Now is the time in my opinion we need to get some of the freshmen from Grove some serious playing time for the next few games and get them some experience. At least maybe those kids will give us some hope going into next season..

With all due respect Commish...things have gotten pretty bad around here from what I have been hearing. I called it early in the season about Springfield winning the region and that Henry County just wasn't good this year. I'm telling you, it seriously wouldn't surprise me if we lose out the rest of the games. Henry County fans I hate to be "that guy" but my gut is telling me its not going to be pretty the next 3 games.

Yeah with those guys out its probably a wrap for this season. Paducah Tilghman will most likely win this game and dont be surprised if we lose the remaining games on our schedule...

I think from what I have seen Paducah Tilghman is a pretty good football team despite their 2-3 record. They lost 42-28 to powerhouse Mayfield. Tilghman can definitely score the ball pretty well so thats probably not a good thing for us. I dont know...

As frustrated as I am, I couldn't let this week go without a thread for the HC/Paducah game. Any thoughts about this one??

I did a little research and the last time Henry County started the season 3-4 was way back in 2004! 17 years since the Patriots have been this bad. There just isn't much to be excited about this year anymore. I will talk to my fellow HC posters maybe during the off-season or beginning of next season till then BigRed88 signing off. GBR!

Im happy for you guys! I know how it was for us to get big wins! Good luck to yall the rest of the way. If we aren't going to be serious contenders then there is no other team i would rather see in 5A competing deep in the playoffs than the Springfield Yellow Jackets.

Unfortunately I have to agree. Its sad as a fan that we are at this point but its now a reality. I'm already looking to next year to be honest. Again congrats Springfield, big win!
