Spot-on. Thought we were gonna move it down the field at will after those early scores. Fatigue showed in 2nd half, and it’s hard to get in shape now. Still think it’s a coin toss. Both teams have plenty to figure out, good test for both.

Should be a good one. GVille's offense is extremely talented, especially the WR group. We all know Josh will have his boys ready to go, though.

I made that more suspenseful than I should have. Just referring to kickoff and location. Kickoff has been pushed back to 7:30. I think GVille is already moved to 8:00, won't be surprised if we do the same. Also, it may be a home game for the Owls. DeKalb's bleachers are causing a bit of a situation.

I was told the same thing. If true (and it’s a big if), the Owls have a lot better chance of getting to 2-0. Also some other rumors swirling around.

I think this is a dead heat, might give DC the slightest advantage being at home. We caught a few fortunate breaks Friday but missed some opportunities as well. About what you'd expect in a rivalry game to open the season.

Lol. There will be some yellow laundry flying I am sure. The problem with this rivalry now is most of the kids act more mature than the adults.

Incredible game to end the regular season, I hope this one is no different. This will likely be the last time we meet for a while. East was favored to win the first one, and we pulled it off. I’d say they are favored to win the rematch as well. That being said, we have already proved we can do it and seem to be clicking at the right time. Hopefully another great environment. Go Owls

Experience seems to be a big factor in these games, which makes me lean GVille. I would love to see the Dawgs break through, though. Wish I could be two places at once Friday night, this might as well be the semifinal game. Good luck to both teams

My prediction is that the winner of this one will be playing in Chattanooga in a few weeks, although I would love to see Clay County make a run.

It’s clear the Owls are underdogs Friday night, no denying that. I’m just not expecting it to be as lopsided as it was last year, but I’ve been wrong before. Should be a great environment and hopefully a great game to go with it. If we can sustain drives and control the tempo, I think it’ll be tight in the 4th. If our team discipline and attitudes are anything like they were last Friday, it will get ugly. Too many mental mistakes that East will expose.

I can definitely see that being the case. Same for us so far this year. Lot of talent but been pretty flat at times.
