  1. I hate when people say garbage like this. If you scared, say you’re scared. There’s a chance to get mugged no matter where you go.
  2. I don't think schools can help what region they are placed in or the teams the have to play. I'm sure the coaches will make adjustments and the players will be prepared either way. Moving on.
  3. As far as expectations go, I don't think they would be very high at that school, would it? They desperately need a culture change.
  4. Why would Reed be a great fit for the Hornets moving forward? Hasn't he been on the staff there for a while? I'm just wanting to know some opinions. Don't really know the guy except some of the things people have told me about him.
  5. I agree with you on this!!! I think what they are trying to do on offense is good when you have the personnel to do it with. Sometimes you have to simplify the game and not over complicate things.
  6. Well, as a decorated coach, what is your take on this program moving forward?
  7. Can you speak on the strengths of this team? Let's us know please. Matter of fact, let the coaches know so they can fix it. Or, like i said a few weeks ago, put in for a coaching position. The real problem i see with this community is the up and down support. When Tullahoma was on top everyone, well except @Cakeman, was on board talking about how great the kids were and what a job the coaches did. Now, it's a tad bit different, the coaches can't coach, the players aren't in the right position. Stop the nonsense! Where else would number 8 play?he's a Jr, has play nothing but QB all his life, where does he go? The difference I see, those kids from last year wanted to win, they worked in the weight room, they were hungry for success. Does anyone see that in this team? has their bodies changed from the start of the season until now? The last couple of years we saw the team get strong as they went on through the season. Most of these kids have seen what it takes to be a state champion. A program doesn't change over night. Kids come and go. You can coach your tail off but if you don't have the kids that want to work and have the mentality to play the game of football, your team isn't going to be very good.
  8. Or maybe the kids aren’t coachable? Think about this, the juniors this year has probably been coached the same way for three years, correct? Coached along side those seniors last year. These kids that or on the team this year have spent time to learn and be coached by pretty much the same staff. Maybe the kids aren’t as good as everyone wishes. Y’all are saying they played a lot last year, y’all have seen them play this year. Not everything is on the coaches, not everything is on the players. Let’s be realistic though.
  9. Y’all on this post are about as dumb as it comes. Is the elite football league peewee? They put the kid in 77 for a reason. I hope we see him and how fast and great he is tonight. From what I hear 77 is one of the least hard working kids when it comes to lifting and practice. That’s hear say though. Hate to say it, well, actually I don’t, Tomlin is not a QB. Middle school is not the same as high school. Hey, I don’t anything though, that’s why they are coaches and we aren’t. If y’all know so much, why don’t y’all apply for a spot on staff?!
  10. @Twistedwedge Those kids that you are talking about have been playing in Tullahoma since they were little kids. That whole group of seniors played together from Pop Warner to the time they graduated, expect maybe 2.
  11. @Chiledeme I want to apologize, I misplaced my @ with the wrong person. That was for @Twistedwedge
  12. Stop it! The early 2000s teams were nothing to sneeze at. By any means. The coaches finally put this years team in a position were they can be successful instead of being closed-minded because Coaches seem to be stuck to their guns about coaching and not adjusting to their team. This is why coaches are unsuccessful and the kids with all this talent never make it. Giles Co. is a physical team, the like to run the ball. I think it maybe a good game. I will say FC pulls it out.
  13. @Chiledeme Salty much? Despite the fact last year's State Championship team was made up of Franklin County kids or not, it's obvious why they made that choice and it seemed to be the right one. If anyone's the blame, blame Franklin County's admin for the high turnover from the top to bottom. Blame them for hiring coaches that don't know how to coach talent and not putting them in a position to succeed. Don't worry though, ya'll should when the state championship this year with that bunch of seniors ya'll have, that's what the community thinks anyway. If Tullahoma has a better program than the school I'm currently sending my children to, heck, I'd send my kids there too.
