If Hall goes college coaching he will recruit the boro and has seen the players. That's a good thing. I can recall going to Shelby for a game about 5 years ago the team looked rough, the field looked rough...the facility looked rough. I watched two games ther this year and much has improved under Coach Hall. He leaves a double district winner and a program! Brad Frasier would do outstanding at Shelby. Any entry level coach coming into that program would not do himself or the team a favor to take the head role. An entry coach would do well under Frasier a few years. Good luck Coach Hall!

They should be there with the 8. A couple of bad calls really hurt in their last game. It's always a game of inches and Burke did a fine job especially when he got ahead. He seemed to have a different gear. Wheeler just got under one that would have won it anyhow. Blackman will be a hand-full next year with 7 starters on defense returning. Watched Kyler Burke pitch to Blackman. Oot has a good number 2 guy. Pitching will win out. I give Oot the edge but I've not seen Ravenwoods pitchers this year. If they've got one better than Burke they are good. What happened to mt juliet and their pitchers?

My associates in Shelby say woods matches better with blackman and that Brothers will be necessary later. Thing that is strange is saying cooper will close. He's 88 but has sporadic control this year. What's the odds of coty woods throwing for river and chote pitching to shelby against brothers.

I saw Ben walker pitch a gem against River in the region last year. 4 hitter and drove in 4 runs himself. Have not seem him much but ben's got game.

River is the best in the region. If columbia in field plays well it will be a very tight game. Estes for columbia is a game pitcher. Hunter wont get a pitch to hit so someone else will have to drive in runs. Columbia not scared of boro or Nashville teams... River 3 Col 2.

Some districts have different strike zones. 8aaa seems to give 6 inches off the plate. All the batters stand 4" off the plate to reach it. 7aaa seems to give less outside but higher pitches than 8aaa. Some umps react to fans. Some do not. Some towns fans seem more intellegent than others in their protest on calls. I've seen some umps improve a lot this year. King is probably the best I've seen this year. Boro seem to have a lot of young umps compared to other places. Recruitment? What is the best training sessions coming up for umpires? TSSAA certification?
