Honest question - what’s the actual likelihood of that happening though? I ask that because I think we can all admit that there’s no shortage of false bravado on these boards. Also, who would have to file that case? West Creek? Have they (the school, not fans and parents) mentioned doing so? Or can anyone do so? I suppose in the land of frivolous lawsuits anyone can, but will anyone actually do so? I just don’t see anything ever coming from it. And lucky for us all, we crazy #### posters on this board aren’t judge, jury, nor executioner.

The thing about camps is dumb - I’m not saying you’re dumb for mentioning it, I’m just saying it’s dumb. It’s a rule, I’m aware, but it’s dumb and antiquated. Any wrestler in any room across the country will go to a camp if they feel there’s something to gain from it, regardless of clinician, or an open mat, or whatever. For that to be used against them if they determined to go to a school that they’ve done a camp at is a bit much.

It was good until wives started getting made of. Can’t respect that. But aside from that, it was popcorn worthy.

Maybe if they go back to the 32 man bracket without sectionals. That Cleveland Sectional would be TERRIBLE to get out of.

I think that’s what the board is for. My research is still incomplete, but early polling results show that it’s definitely for getting ones panties in a knot.

Here’s what I’m not fond of for sections. I’ll use Cleveland and Soddy but it could be any two teams really. Wrestler A from CHS and Wrestler B from BCHS meet in the Region finals. next wrestler A from CHS and wrestler B I’m BCHS meet in the Section finals. And it is likely that Wrestler A from CHS and Wrestler B from BCHS meet in the state tournament. Thats likely facing the same opponent three times in the postseason, which is 25% a kid’s postseason matches (4 at region, 4 at section, 4 at state) vs one other opponent. That sucks.
