What does dyersburg gain from playing their cupcake non region schedule? It’s apparently not making them any better come playoff time. It really hurt Haywood from a scheduling standpoint when dyersburg and ripley went down to 3a. We are having a hard time getting teams to play us. I can’t remember exactly how many times we have played both teams historically, over 100 times each time. Think it’s ridiculous they won’t schedule the Tomcats.

Ripley ought to be just as embarrassed!! Haywood and Ripley boy have an awful long history . Why would y’all end the game??

Wish dyersburg would grow a pair and put Haywood back on their schedule for the next few years. I’m sure it would benefit the Trojans playing the Tomcats more than it would them playing whoever the btw Memphis school they play every year and whoop every year! Haywood and Dyersburg have a lot of history. I just hope it’s not Bart preventing Haywood from playing Dyersburg!

I hope you are wrong! I’m hoping Henry County will come through, as well as Covington. After them hopefully we can get one of the better Memphis teams. Possibly Whitehaven, Collierville,Houston, Bartlett. There are a few Memphis private schools I wouldn’t mind scheduling but Briarcrest isn’t one of them! They might have been one of the most crooked teams we have played. Munford seems to be looking like a good team. North Mississippi has some good teams. Oakland is always looking for games, as well as lipscolm. Several Nashville teams. We need to be on the phone now working on it. Hopefully we can do better going forward! Hookfin seemed to be pretty good at finding really good random teams to play, that usually kicked our butts but we were at least playing good teams.

This brings up a question for myself. Will Alcoa play up to 4a next year?

I sincerely wish Covington would play up to 4A and be in our region next year. It’s just not right to me not having Covington, Ripley and Dyersburg in our region. Ripley and Dyersburg are both cowards for not keeping us on their schedule.

Totally agree with the final score not reflecting how much we dominated that game. I think the refs had a big part to do with that. Also give Covington big props for playing us, I think we should have always kept playing them! We should play each other every year! Hope you are wrong about it ending

Like already said. Well coached, play hard and played fast. I was kind of surprised they didn’t try eating more clock. Also pretty predictable, but hey it works for them. Y’all should be proud of y’all’s field! It looked great!

I believe coach Rebstock has learned a thing or two about defending the wing t offense. He seemed to struggle with it his first year here. Year two he made some adjustments on how to defend it and we have been much better at stopping it. We shall see. Let’s go Haywood!!

Pretty sure we all know what Covington is gonna try to do. I would personally love to see them spread it out and throw the ball all over the field.

So after seeing the new classification I’m assuming region 7-4a will remain the same except we will lose Milan and gain Dyer County. Is that what y’all see happening?
