  1. I will say Comer can coach his butt off. Definitely top tier.
  2. Nice little win streak for yall. You'll have to win the next 40 years, give or take, to catch up. But go off.
  3. There was one for Coalfield in 2017 I believe. They were put out 2nd or 3rd round.
  4. Even I can't back this one. Croppy, Imma have to sit this one out bub.
  5. I am aware that teams get better as the season progresses. As you seen in the post you quoted, I gave McKenzie their props by stating that they beat us last year. They had the best team I personally have seen at McKenzie last year. If we compete and get beat that's one thing, but our coaches did not have our guys prepared to play our biggest rivals. I bleed blue and gold to the core, of course I'm going to be a little salty about that. I am no expert at high school football and have been wrong many times and will be wrong many more times, but I have no doubt we could have won that game this year if we were prepared to play. I never said we would blow them out, but I believe we could have won that game. Even though I despise McKenzie, I have respect for Comer and the way he runs the football program there.
  6. Our playoff records are basically identical besides state championships. And we would probably have more gold balls if our population was as big as yalls. We win with what we got, yall win by picking and choosing. or like last year get trampled by a stampede of Mustangs, TWICE!
  7. Yall had 2 chances last year and couldn't beat us
  8. My point being is you saying "My TeAm Is BiGgEr ThAn YoUrS" and that don't mean jack. Nobody said anything about state championships. I was stating history. Dresden has never beat us and probably wouldn't today. I'm pretty sure Milan, Riverside, and possibly Crockett County could beat Union City, Dresden, and Mckenzie. I can't comment on the others you listed because I've never seen them play.
  9. We get what you're saying, but, and I won't delve into it to deep, we should have not lost to Mckenzie this year. Last year Mckenzie beat us, this year we beat ourselves. That's about all I will say on the matter because, apparently, words and sentences get peoples panties in a wad. We are beatable, as are most teams on Friday nights. (or Thursday nights)
  10. Let's be real. Dresden can't be any bigger than most of the teams we've already faced and beat. If they are then those are actually grown men and not kids. So the whole bigger than Huntingdon is not really a flex. And if the Mckenzie game is the only game you've watched, then yea, you haven't watched a Mustang game this year. If I ain't mistaken, and correct me if I'm wrong, but according to coach t, Dresden has never beaten Huntingdon, atleast since 2005. It actually might be, you better be glad you are in 1A and not 2A.
  11. We did (congrats to Mckenzie. They still have a long ways to go to catch up on the rivalry) and I can ensure you that I haven't lost any sleep over that game, but since this is a forum about high school football, I can post about whichever game I want, when I want. Seeing as I've only mentioned it once or twice since that week, I could care less if you or any other poster likes it. But thanks.
  12. True, but move that game to week 5 instead of week 1 and the score would be flipped. With what you said though, wouldn't that put Mckenzie in front of us?
  13. Not that it means anything, but I think 5 and 6 can be swapped. I think Huntingdon beats Dresden if they played.
  14. Swenson didn't have the boys prepared, mentally or physically, for the 1st game of the season. Against a rival at that. Are we unbeatable? Absolutely not. But I wouldn't judge us on the 1st game of the season. We've shown everyone who we are, 6 weeks straight.
  15. Just heard Milan and Huntingdon were put in probation from the fight. Anybody have any information on this? @BIGPURPLEMACHINE @Waker @Croppygenius
  16. This is very true. Will be a tough road to the ship.
  17. I watched a few clips of them. They have some speedsters. For me, and this means nothing, but its hard to judge how well a team is when they haven't been truly tested. I think they have 2 tough games the next 2 weeks (I think?). Should give a better idea.
  18. Just a lil opponent information for all 5 up to this point. Opponents records York - 22-21 (6 games) Marion County 15-33 (7 games) Huntingdon 30-12 (6 games) Milan 20-28 (7 games) Riverside 24-23 (7 games) Not that this means anything, just a little information. Is Marion good, or are they playing inferior teams? I have no clue about any east team.
  19. Haven't heard anything about York or Marion this year. Are those 2 teams legit over there? I wonder how either of those teams would match up against Huntingdon, Milan, or Riverside.
  20. Oh yea, I can't speak on the status of his health either because I don't know him. This was from a gentleman close to him. It could very well be just smack talk from that gentleman, but he did say that was what Thomas said.
  21. From what I was told from someone close to #25 is that he was 100% and was going to put up 350 yards on us. I can't be for sure if it was completely true, but was told that specifically.
  22. And had the audacity to say we were the only ones who exhibited poor sportsmanship. Only pointing fingers one way.
