Coach nobody has it better just remember. We have a lot of haters that don't understand this level of work and dedication.

No need to include private schools. We do everything with guys born and bread in our county. Sure teams with more resources can do more but we're doing a lot more with less and building. why so much hate?

DG knows we're top 5 in the state. Name another public school besides Maryville, Alcoa, Oakland, or West that can beat us the little old 4A team.

Give us the respect and just say top 5 team in the state in all of football.

The Mavs will head to Johnson City tonight and come away with a hard fought 6A vs 4A win. Unlike most teams the Anderson County Mavs will play all challengers and bigger schools. This is a tough task but these kids have been prepared for these situations since their days at Norris middle. My prediction Mavs 42 Science Hill 28
