I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.

This thread has been really quiet this year. I still have not seen any rankings. It seems that Middle and West TN will still be strong. From what I am seeing in some of these threads the East will be weak. Thoughts?

What does everyone's top 10 look like?

I believe this is MidState player of the year. So it makes a little more sense now. I assume West will have one and East. Will be interested to see who is on those lists.

I just saw the Baseball Player of the year nominations. Can someone explain to me how a player gets nominated for this and does not win Mr. Baseball? Or how a player does not get nominated for Mr. Baseball and is nominated for player of the year? Is this nominated by a different group of people? I see some Mr. Baseball finalists but none of the others.

He did or did not deserve it? Baker seemed solid all year. His stats for batting and pitching were impressive. The tournament director has zero impact on the games. Not understanding your comment.

I believe the game between Eagleville and ER was 5-3 going into the bottom of the 7th inning. Eagleville made a few errors in the 1st inning to get ER to the 3. From what i understand is that Eagleville's #5 pitcher came in to close that game and it was just not his day. This is what i was told.
