Played Indian football from the time I was 8 years old till the the time I graduated. We were never very good (made the playoffs once my entire time in high school) but I met some of the best friends a guy could ask for, and learned invaluable lessons about life and dealing with adversity. To be able to watch them play for a state championship today has me full of pride. Good luck to both teams and congratulations. Go East!

I feel like Zack has the most potential at the next level. Kid is a monster on the edge. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets more involved with the offense next year too.

Lol a coach pushed a kid from York to get him away from the scuffle when it was goin on. A scuffle that began because a York player gator rolled Isaiah Groves’s leg after the play was over. No kid was punched by a coach. Y’all gotta be some of the sorest losers I’ve ever seen. Y’all have gotten away with playing dirty all year and bullying the weaker teams in your region, and thought the same would happen last night. This time you ran into a team that was better than you and wasn’t about to let you get away with your tantrums. Go cheer on the basketball team. Have a coke and a smile

I’ve been really impressed with how Elijah Groves has responded after the Trousdale fiasco. He seems to have a whole new attitude. Seems like he’s having fun playing football again, and he’s been stepping up as a leader. Kudos to coach brooks as well. You can tell the kids love him. ER has always had talent but they just never had a winning culture in football. He’s changed the standard the past few years, and it’s been fun to watch in Cross Plains.

You know how small town football is. All you need is for the right families have kids at the same time and you’re set lol.

Got another Groves and another Prince coming into next years freshman class. Won the Middle school championship again this year. The future is bright for the Indians for the next few years.

Freshman QB is gonna have to step up and make some big plays in this game for ER to pull it out. Pressure from Smith County had him pretty timid in the first meeting. Isaiah Groves alone won’t be able to beat SC. They’re just too big up front to impose your will on.
