  1. Hey bud need to get the NFHS reply. Watched AC YouTube version. Maybe your Hudl sees some other things. YouTube showed a TD called back, TD dropped, and a TD caught and called incomplete. So that would be 4 correct counting other TD? Also seen a lot of 3 or 4 man rushes. Prevent is made to work underneath. Not a hundred percent sticking up I seen stuff but after reading this and then watching darn I thought I would of seen something far worse. I might be wrong I'll try and watch again.
  2. No offense, but top 3 in state... at what? QB fits Greeneville system that's it. He will have a good year because they are a very well ran program. He isn't top 10 in the state for class of 2024 alone. Second stop about Farragut! They have a better WR Room, and better DB's then Greeneville. QB's are about the same. Line play I would say Greeneville on both sides and possibly a wash at LB's. Greeneville I believe would win in overall coaching department. I say all this because you act like they are trash. I think Greeneville will win by 2+ TD's but only because teams improve the most between weeks 1-2.
  3. West will lose and lose big imo. I like the 28-13 score but I'm going to up this score. Let's say 35-13. Bearden is building something special, and I don't care how it's happening recruiting, training, or coaching. It's all of the above ! They have one of if not the best staffs in Knoxville and are only doing what other teams in their region are doing. Look at Cleveland and Bradley Central. Maryville, Alcoa, Greeneville, West, and Farragut have done the same for years. These 6a coaches better learn to coach like in GA or TX because the days of winning with best kids will lose your kid to someone else. You want to win you best learn to coach and recruit.
  4. I'm only replying to you this one time, since you seem to be so close to the program. As far as I know, the kid was on the team all season except for the loss to Betsy. He was never third string, but if that makes you feel better, go ahead and say it. I was also told that he left spring workouts after realizing that the competition wasn't fair. I do know that his father had words with the coach for getting in the kid's face, pretty much pushing him into a wall and screaming at him. I also know that some people are saying that the team should have won a ring or two more if the coach had played for the playoffs instead of week to week. Of course, this is all just hearsay, so go ahead and tell me how I'm wrong and the coach didn't play his friends kid, the one friend who introduced him to his wife and took them around town.
  5. BenDover, it's where you keep spewing it out like nobody's business! Oops, my bad! So you're one of those enthusiastic Greeneville parents, huh? Alright, my apologies if I hurt your delicate feelings. But seriously, isn't it a tad strange how you're obsessively following this kid? Is your own child not playing? I mean, come on! Hall gets the easy-peasy mop-up duties, Quillen snags the starting job, and oh, who was that third-stringer who played one measly varsity game? Let's not even get started on the Quillen debate; that one's been beaten to death, I know. The Farragut issue well I'll just leave it hear with a picture is worth a thousand words so I've got a dictionary. Alright, I'm officially done talking to the parent. How about you go spend some quality time with your own kid instead of stalking teenagers? It's a much healthier and less creepy hobby, trust me!
  6. Oops, my bad! I had no idea who I was chatting with. Time to take a seat and zip it... but wait, just one question. Who was the OC that year you mentioned? After looking back at that time, it turns out the GV QB did play more and had more starts than the Jeff County QB on the JV team. The reason? Brace yourself for this: the JC kid played only one JV game and started. I probably talked to a different OC, though. According to what I was told, Spradlen informed the kid that he was too valuable to the team to play JV, so there's that. Now, the current QB at GV had varsity stats he was 2-4 that year, throwing for a whopping 69 yards with his longest play also being 69 yards. Meanwhile, Hall had a stat line of 14-21 for 215 yards, and hold your breath, he rushed 23 times for a staggering 253 yards that year as the 3rd string All these stats are still online. Should we keep going, or are you heading back to your mountain hideaway? Speaking of the Jeff Co and Farragut thing, it took me a couple of hours, but I finally spoke to a couple parents and not even in the same ball park on your assumptions. I even have a few screenshots from a Farragut parent, and let's just say you're on something like strike 5. I have no doubt that you've watched the games, maybe even attended a few. It sounds like you have a crush on the kid. Are you some sided jilted lover lurking in the shadows? The kid probably doesn't even know you, ol' pev. But now I understand the reference to "Brokeback Mountain."
  7. Pretty sure most of this is incorrect. Never 3rd string at GV for one that shows you have no clue what you are talking about. Watch the TV games and you will probably see the answer to forcing passes. When the broadcasters asking why are they not doing something it's pretty bad. I'm pretty sure you just wanting to dog someone and actually have no clue what your talking about. Good luck calling out kids.
