Not a mystery. Most people know who I’m talking about. Just not going to name names of coaches. It’s pretty widespread knowledge in the South Knox community.

Still unlikely to happen. No one is officially reporting it because it’s falling through.

Support all Blount Schools. Used to write sports for TDT. Have a lot of friends that work in both all surrounding school systems.

What Stevens was wanting was not possible. In the end he is going to take a major pay cut if he gets in. I think he knows that and is tanking the deal. That’s just what it sounds like from resources in central office. This person used to be in Blount K-12 and constantly talks about poor pay scales for coaches costing KCS.

OR is a MUCH better program than HVA. No one debates that. But OR underachieves every year and HVA don’t have far to go to overachieve. Those a just facts.

OR won 4 games against teams above .500. And with that schedule anything less than 9 wins is a failure. Trade schedules and OR is a .500 team.

A SD native that had an up and coming QB was basically told it was his job and then the rug pulled out to hire a salesman with no success on his resume. They deserve what they get.

Clinton Dragons beat you in playoffs. Both teams watched the 3rd round together. From home.

It will be a major struggle. I know he reached out to some Blount co coaches and it’s been a running joke amongst them all.. no one wants to work with him unfortunately. May have a 4 person staff over there.

This is great for RC. They have had good athletes in the past and never had an offense that could utilize their skills. Which is why the lost kids. Hopefully TH can keep them all and they will be much better. They will beat CHS. TH made them look foolish last year.

They went 3-7 last year. Could easily go 4-6. 5-5 isn’t out of the question. 6 wins is unlikely but How about- hey come out and play against some of the top talent in the state in our region week in week out. Everyone makes excuses for kids to not want to go compete. Then comes on here and complains about the same type of stuff. Ironic huh.

Just heard from someone in building they are possibly bringing in KCS employees only for interviews Friday or early next week.

You are Laughable. But also it’s endearing that you believe so much in your team. so hats off to you. I don’t know SS. Just read about. He may be best coach ever. He hasn’t “Won everywhere” though. So don’t lie. He had A(ONE) winning season at LaVergne. He is OLD. He Isn’t going to excite the team. He certainly Isn’t going to compete with the top teams in 3A football regardless of how good he can coach. He is unlikely to be able to form a quality staff. Sorry. That’s the reality. Probably isn’t even going to matter. He’s likely not getting the job. I think they end up not getting it worked out and go to one of their candidates currently employed by KCS. Just the scuttlebutt downtown anyway.

LaVergne to middle tn is like AE to Knox county though. Will have similar outcomes. IF big IF he actually gets hired. Check back in November when they go 3-7 maybe 4-6.
