  1. Because the team across from them made them look slow. Smith County had a great team this year. It just got ugly quick and threw them out of their game plan.
  2. I’ve heard from multiple people with access to film that there were no “punches” throw by ER. Multiple ER coaches were trying to get to players to pull them out of the scuffle and got punched, but nothing on film from ER staff throwing punches. Granted, this is all from the same video so who knows if there is other film floating around.
  3. This is just wild and wreckless. There was an internal process including a player vote. Know your facts before spewing garbage slander. We are dealing with high school kids here. Yes, it was selfish to quit on your team at half. No room for that in any level of sports. But his teammates voted for him to be back with the team.
  4. You have to give credit to Coach Brooks. They have gone on the road for 3 straight weeks against Marion County, Smith County and York. They weren’t “35 point favorites” in any of those games. All 3 were really good teams. Going into all 3 road games and taking care of business is impressive no matter who is on the field. ER was doubted in all 3 games and all 3 games were never in question outside of Marion County first half and after ER pulled starters at York. Everyone says “ER” skill guys. Yes, they are incredible at RB and the Groves boys are gonna be playing on Saturdays. What gets lost is the offensive line and defensive line. They control the LOS every game. They are the tone setters for ER. And don’t forget about Cade Brooks at WR. Kid is a walking TD when he gets the ball.
  5. Yeh the clean hit that resulted in an unsportsmanlike penalty. Got it.
